About Pauline Sullivan
We are the Sullivans, Pauline and Clair. We live on the property, which we find very convenient, problems, help with restaurant recommendations, even pet sitting have all been our pleasure to perform.
Pauline Sullivan purchased this Cottage in 1979
Why Pauline Sullivan chose Niagara-on-the-Lake
We originally purchased 659 King Street, for its close proximity to Live theatre and a wonderful golf course. It was originally used by the family as 2 cottages, 1 for guests. After retiring we decided to live in the front cottage and rent the rear cottage as a vacation spot.

The property was a separate, attached cottage and not the entire house. But it was lovely!
Clean, convenient, well equipped. Gardens are so beautiful, & a nesting cardinal just outside the picture window. Pauline is a gracious hostess, too.
Quiet spot, lovely host
The cottage is small but efficient and semi-attached to the main house. Cozy and quiet. If you need more space, the garage has been converted into an enclosed patio and the English style garden is available for an evening sit. Do not depend on the slow internet connection, but then, your aren't there for that anyway.
Lovely cottage near bike trails and downtown NOTL
We stayed with Pauline for a couple days in mid-June and had a fantastic time in NOTL. The cottage itself is on the small side, but was comfortable enough for the two of us and was nicely clean with all the things we needed for our stay. The location is phenomenal: just a couple blocks from all the restaurants and shopping in downtown NOTL and very close to the Heritage biking trail that runs to several wineries in the area which was perfect for us as we did a lot of biking around the area. The cottage has a large and beautiful garden that we enjoyed sitting out in during the evenings.
A Unique Delight
Alnwick is a storybook cottage in a covenient location. The interior artwork is a feast for the eyes. The fenced rear yard has many focal areas filled with mature plants, furniture, fountains, lighting, and more art. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The sunroom provides room to spread out. Will definitely return; perhaps this fall.
