I rented from July 15th through July 21st. 2019, And it is so sad that with such nice neighborhood and property, the management was so terrible. At my arrival in the walk through I was immediately told that the bathtub (Jacuzzi) in the master bedroom wasn't working for my enjoyment. I noticed right away the infestation of ants and bugs everywhere in the house., but the worst was the swimming pool filled with it. At bed time, we had do full laundry in all the beds linens due to how dirty we found them with hairs, stains and yellowish pillows. (It was disgusting). The house wasn't dusted at all, spiderwebs could be found in the wall corners and ceilings. It took several emails for the owner to respond to our complaints. She said that since she lives in Germany some other manager would take care of us, but that person never showed up, and then lied to the owner saying that he did. I had to filed and escalate a complaint to Home away with two days wasted already from our vacation due to the cleaning and with rest of the situation. The pool cleaning personnel goes every Wednesday so be aware that if someone books before that day will find a dirty pool from previous renters if not with ants. After several emails back and forward with the owner, I started to receive kind of hostiles response for her, because my constant complaints every time I found something inappropriate. I took pictures and documented every single detail. One night the fire sensor alarm started to beep constantly due to low battery, I had to call the check-in person to replace it and then the owner charged me from the damage deposit $85.00. Home Away got in contact with the owner to explain to her that the battery was not applicable to any damage charge and it was a matter of security, she deliberately hang up on them. Not been courteous enough she didn't even try to negotiate any refund do to all the inconveniences that me an my family had to go through. In the contrary, she told me that she was not going to charge me for the extra electricity used by day....(Seriously!). after all the laundry in the very first night. Home Away should not keep any kind of business with this homeowner unless the company want its name to be in a terrible reputation. In the various calls to Home Away the customer service was over the top, no issues at all...good job guys! however deal with this owner and property.
Hidden gem, loved our stay!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at this home! The house was very nice, clean, and spacious. The covered patio area with the table was where we ate most of our meals, and it was covered so we were out of the sun. The kids as well as us adults enjoyed cooling off in the pool. One of the favorite things was to fish off of the dock, we caught several fish and released them back. The kids loved that! We even saw a turtle, no gators though. We truly enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again!!

Our family really enjoyed the home and accommodations. Petra always responded in a timely manner to our questions. The home and grounds are kept clean and up-to-date. The property manager Peter was pleasant to work with at check in and check out. We definitely will consider this property in future trips to Cape Coral.
Winter Get- Away
Really enjoyed the house and pool. Everything was clean and well kept in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely return next year if we hadn't bought a house of our own. The Cape Coral area was very nice with plenty of good restaurants.

Great vacation home in nice location
Beautiful 3 bedroom vacation home with heated pool in good and quite location. Shopping and restaurants right around the corner. Very friendly and accomodating owner. We will visit again.
Great well appointed property, we enjoyed inside and out, would certainly go back.
This property is very well equipped and nicely situated. It was nice that it had most of the non routine shopping essentials, spices, coffee, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, trash bags....... the house had everything we needed for a stress free stay. The house is beautifully maintained and clean. We really had only one issue and that was the master bath hot tub would not work, we were only there 3 days so did not want workmen in to repair it as I am sure the property manager was quite happy to organize, the owner without question gave us a reasonable refund to reflect that 1 issue.
We have stayed in many vacation rentals and I have to say this was one of the best.
