Great for our big group

  • 5 of 5

This very large house was great for our group! The kids enjoyed the pool, and the adults appreciated that the kitchen had two ovens, three sinks, three refrigerators, and two freezers. Thanks also to Connie for being very helpful!

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Worth every penny. Awesome house and accommodations. Very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen is fully stocked with many things you may forget to bring with you. Plenty of space for a large family to spread out to sleep. Large rooms available when you want to come together to eat and visit. Can't wait to come back in the summer time and try out the outdoor pool. But the indoor pool (short drive away) was also amazing.

One of the most memorable weekends of my life!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing place! Could not have imagined a more perfect way to spend my 30th birthday with my friends. There is so much to do and see just on the property (thank you Paul for showing us around all of it!) that we all wished we could have stayed a couple more days. We will 100% be back and I'm already looking forward to it.

Take it all in...ahhh!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I have been coming here for the last 6 years....it never gets old. We absolutely love it. Luxury combined with serene country ruggedness, without gaudy, or ostentatious manner. The houses are beautiful, practical, clean, and spacious. The SPA and the farm/open air is spectacular. A place to meditate without even trying. Super hospitable staff. The price amazingly affordable. Honestly, it's too good to be true...except it isn't! Thank you Connie, Paul, and all the Castleton staff:>) See you next year!

I love this place

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful owners, amazing place, affordable prices, and amazing location. This place is just 100% amazing. Clean, homey, comfortable, beautiful nature surrounding it. I've already come to stay twice and recommended it to many people.

I'm so happy to know that there is a wonderfully affordable home available to enjoy a few days away with friends and family.

Ideal group getaway location!

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a fantastic weekend with 25 friends and family at this rural getaway! Our group has been getting together for 24 years and I have been in search of such a great spot for many years! While this spot is definitely remote, there is lots to do once you are on the property. The Meadows House and the nearby cottages easily fit our group and had abundant large gathering areas, pool, tennis, hiking path, spa, etc.! The kitchen was immense and even had a walk in refrigerator! A big shout out to Connie and Paul who made sure we were well taken care of. We were even able to borrow bikes for our group bike ride near Culpeper. I am looking forward to many return trips for girls' getaways and for our 25th anniversary of our group get together. This is definitely a rare find!!
