The manor house Groß Markow is also called 'manor house' or 'castle' and is located in the beautiful 'Mecklenburg Switzerland' in a quiet and rural environment on the outskirts of the village. It is surrounded by 15,000 m² of park-like natural grounds with tall, partly rare trees. The manor house has a great history as an elegant center of former noble families. It was built in classicist style and has an imposing entrance hall. The manor house can accommodate up to 36 people and is therefore ideal for group travel.

On the side of the house there is a covered terrace with a barbecue area. Here you can gather with the whole family. An indoor swimming pool (32 m²). Jacuzzi, billiard room, cigar room, table football and table tennis are available. In the basement there is a club room and the large kitchen. 19 bedrooms (including 2 single rooms) are spread over three floors. On each floor there are 1-2 bathrooms and WC's. Also: tea room and a nice library room.

For ceremonies there is a large hall on the lower floor. Here you can hold meetings and festive banquets. The manor house is also ideal as a wedding location. A beautiful neo-Gothic church is available in the village for your wedding ceremony. Afterwards you can celebrate your wedding in the cottage in a very private setting.

A forest path leads from the manor house into nature and it is only ten minutes by car to the Techow golf course. An 18-hole championship course awaits the golf professional. The manor house is protected as a venerable, historical cultural monument. It is ideal for the vacation of several families, for beautiful festivities or for clubs and events in a smaller individual setting.

The costs for energy/oil/water are to be paid on the spot according to consumption. For this, a down payment of 150 EUR per day is to be made upon arrival. Deposit for youth groups: 2.000 EUR.

Please note that: Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within three weeks after check-out. Up to two pets are allowed.
