The place is ideal both for relaxing and for sports activities: For trekking and mountain biking through the forests of the Casentino Natural Park with its medieval castles and monasteries; the monastery of Camaldoli, just 9 km above in the mountains, is particularly charming. In Pratovecchio, 6 km away, you can get everything for daily use, plus bike rental, horseback riding, train connection to Arezzo. In Stia there is an aqua park in the still young Arno (9 km), where swimming is particularly fun. Both Arezzo (45 km) and Florence (55 km) are easy to reach from here.
