For your day trips we recommend the wonderful coastal town of Palinuro, which you can reach in about 30 minutes by car and which is located on a promontory, the ?Capo Palinuro?, famous for its scenic beauty and its caves, both underground and above ground. Don't miss a trip to Cala Jannita in Maratea, also called "spiaggia nera". (the black beach?), whose peculiarity is the dark color of the sand. To Maratea you need about 45 minutes by car, here you can also find the interesting cave called Sciabella. For art lovers among you, in the very north of beautiful Cilento there is the famous temple site called Paestum, which among other things boasts three of the most important Greek temple ruins. To the center of the village Scario with shopping, good restaurants and a coffee bar where you can drink your authentic Italian espresso, it is only about 200 meters. Crib on request.
