About this property

Snoqualmie Pass Lodge - Near Lake Kachess and the summit

This property is not suitable for weddings or events.

Important Note: Any group exceeding cabin capacity without prior permission will be asked to leave immediately and without a refund. It is uncomfortable to confront this issue, but it has become so common we now have a zero-tolerance policy. As a reminder, the managers live on the property and have exterior security cameras.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE?
- 5 minutes from Lake Kachess, 12 minutes from Alpental, 20 minutes from Roslyn and Suncadia, 60 minutes from Seattle
- Year-round recreation right from our doorstep
- 16 private acres surrounded by national forest
- Property managers live on-site - unexpected problems can be addressed right away
- 3 floors of indoor space for plenty of room to play and relax

LAYOUT OF THE LODGE:

Loft:
Enclosed master suite with king-size Tempur-Pedic and ensuite bathroom. Outside the bedroom is a large landing with a sleeper couch in front of a gas fireplace.

Main Floor:
Two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and a full bathroom between them. You will also find a gourmet kitchen, laundry room, the rear deck with a hot tub and grill, and a dramatic living room with breathtaking views.

Lower Floor:
One bedroom with a queen size bed, another with a queen and twin bunks, and a shared bathroom with a bathtub. A second living room offers the perfect cave for movie watching as well as an additional sleeper sofa. There is also a game room with foosball, pool, and air hockey tables!

ACTIVITIES
- Fire pit (burn bans strictly enforced, firewood not provided)
- Lake access at Kachess with a boat launch and a beach in the campgrounds (fees apply)
- Hiking! We recommend Rachel/Rampart Lakes, Snow Lake, Kendall Catwalk, Silver Mountain, Granite Mountain Lookout, Bandera Mountain, and Gold Creek Park
- During winter, the forest service roads connect to miles of groomed snowmobile trails on Kachess Ridge (we do not rent snowmobiles)
- Designated cross-country skiing trails are also maintained across the street

WE SUPPLY
Sheets, towels, dish cloths, 6 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, iron and ironing board, pots, pans, plates, silverware, glassware, and cookware. We do not provide food items or toiletries.

WHAT TO BRING
Bottled water (highly recommended, our well water is safe to drink but sometimes has a sulfur smell), food and drinks (olive oil, salt and pepper, seasonings, etc.), clothes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toiletries, plastic wrap, plastic bags, food storage containers, beach towels, sunglasses, cameras, games, chargers, and firewood.

PLEASE NOTE
The managers live onsite in separate quarters over the detached garage. They are there for cabin maintenance only, especially between guests but sometimes during a guest stay when necessary. They enjoy meeting guests who are interested, but also ask that guests respect their privacy as this is their full-time residence.

Great house for a Group!
We had five couples, and the rooms and areas were perfect for us. There was plenty of room for parking since we had five vehicles. Although we didn't have kids with us, I can see the pool table, air hockey, and foosball table downstairs being a hit with older kids or teens. Very clean rooms and hot tub. Well-appointed kitchen with plenty of space for multiple cooks!

Accommodations
We were planning to use the hide a bed in the loft but when we pulled it out the mattress was full of stains and coils poking out through the mattress. The towels could use some upgrading and there were no wash clothes in the bathrooms. Those are the reason I gave a 4 rating for accuracy

Amazing house with an amazing view
There were 10 of us that stayed at this house. It was so comfortable and plenty of room so that we were not on top of one another. The game room downstairs was wonderful and kept our 3 teenagers entertained. This place is so peaceful and the perfect place to get away. We had family from out of state so we spent a lot of time site seeing in Seattle, Snoqualmie, Mt Rainier and even a long ride to the beach. I do recommend bringing your own wash clothes as they did not provide those. They provide hand towels, bath towels, kitchen towels and beach towels. The hosts are wonderful. They were quick to respond and was always willing to help if we needed something or had questions. I definitely recommend staying here. We only wished we had spent more down time at the house and hope to go back to stay another time.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin, great location and amazing views. The cabin is spacious with multiple area to rest and spend your time. Spacious kitchen and a big dining table that we could all enjoy dinner together. The owner of the property is quick to respond back if you have any issue during your stay.
