Præstø is a lovely idyllic old small town with beautiful old houses, a small cozy harbor and a unique location on the Præstø Fjord. A little outside Præstø is the manor Nysø with an interesting collection of the works of the Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen, including his plaster sculptures, clay sketches and drawings. Be sure to visit Møns Klint, this unique white chalk cliff that rises vertically from the turquoise-green sea. In nearby Liselund Park you will find the famous small rococo castle and a church with world-famous medieval frescoes. In Fensmark near Næstved is the famous Holmegaard glassworks and in nearby Holme Olstrup the amusement park Bonbon-Land.
