In the middle of the nature park Hüttener Berge, in the city quadrangle Rendsburg, Eckernförde, Kiel and Schleswig, you will find this wonderful farm with several vacation properties. A decidedly family atmosphere gives the property at what is probably the best preserved windmill in Germany a very special character. The large Wittensee is on the doorstep and invites you to swim, fish, sail or surf.

The apartment, located either on the first floor or second floor, is additionally equipped with hairdryer, telephone and laptop safe.

The shared use of sauna and fitness room with table tennis is free for house guests. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the guest house at the mill for a fee. All hotel services can also be used by you, such as breakfast buffet, pension and à la carte dining.

Built in 1874, the cellar bollard with wind rose and louvered sails was thoroughly renovated from 1998 to 2001 and is now ready to mill and wind again. It has both a wind-powered and an electric grinding gear, so that grain grinding can be demonstrated to visitors even without much wind. The handling and function of the classifier, oat crusher, elevator, cake crusher and wind sweep are also explained during a guided tour of the mill.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 15.00 per person or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate.
