About this property

Asilomar 1/2 Acre Retreat!

Health and safety is our #1 Priority. This property is thoroughly cleaned by professionals before and after every stay. House is stocked with extra cleaning products, soaps and hand sanitizer. Nothing matters more to us than the health of our guests and our planet.

Now about the place. We're on a half-acre on Asilomar, nestled between the forest and the ocean. The house has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed; one with two full-sized beds) and a sofa bed in the living room. French doors open to three patios. The 2 bathrooms feature hand-carved Jerusalem stone, built by a local award-winning craftsman. The living room has a fireplace, high def Smart TV, and a view of the back grounds and sand dunes beyond. Dining room and fully-stocked kitchen. TVs in both bedrooms. Huge movie collection, bbq, and 2 bikes for your use.

Say hi to the deer as you walk to the beach...abundant with tide pools, seals and otters. Stroll, run or bike along the nature trail. Have a BBQ as you watch the famous Asilomar sunset. Championship golf, whale-watching, hiking, wine tasting, shopping, dining, surfing, first class spas, breathtaking nature...its all here waiting for you. Come make yourself at home!

Great get-away
Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It has a great location in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. The house is perfectly set up with very comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend this lovely home.

Beautiful stay in Pacific Grove
The host was very great at communicating from booking until completion of stay. My friends and I were on a road trip up the coast, and the home was perfect for our needs. The Asilomar beach was in walking distance of the home, and was just stunning! In the evenings we could kick back and watch a movie on the television, and during the day the rest of the surrounding areas were easily accessible for exploring. The beds were comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. The home was spacious as well, and we never felt cramped. I'm already trying to figure out how we can go back! Thank you for everything :)

Thank you, Tippi and Neal for sharing your home. Our family of 3 had a fantastic week at your home. The home was in a perfect location to explore Monterey. Our family really enjoyed the walks to Asilomar beach, Spanish Bay, Monarch Butterly Sanctuary, downtown PG, and short drive to Carmel. Your communication was excellent and the instructions provider for the home was spot on. Our tween daughter really enjoyed roaming around the yards and we all enjoyed our evening movie night around a warm fireplace. We hope to make it back next year.

We are a family of writers from Los Angeles. Pacific Grove is our favorite place on the planet. On vacation many summers ago, we took a walk and found ourselves in the backyard of the most beautiful property for sale. We went temporarily insane and somehow ended up buying it.
