Really nice property. Unfortunately the location was not right for us. The dog next door was always on our step and barked all night long it really ruined our last nights.

Beautiful gathering place, gorgeous yard
This place was our home base for my husband and two teens in preparation for my daughter's beach wedding. While it is small, it was just right for the four of us with a master bedroom and a second bedroom with two twin beds. The yard is absolutely beautiful and very spacious and the outdoor eating and relaxing areas increase the amount of overall space nicely. The wifi worked well except for an hour when the power was out, no big deal. One thing to note is that this property is on a road that starts out paved, then turns into packed dirt, then just dirt. Since we were in CR during the rainy season we would not have been able to access the house in some of the torrential downpours without 4WD. Overall, this is a beautiful, secluded, private area that will provide a wonderful space to relax. 10/10 would recommend, will go again.

Great place to stay!
This home is very comfortable and located just out of town so lots of privacy. It’s close to lots of fun things to see and do. I highly recommend it. Also Aileen, owner, is great to work with. Very fast to respond and provides lots of good information of the area.

A place for seclusion
When I rented I had no clue there was no phone service being it’s more remote location. And then there was no internet do to problems I’m sure. If I were looking for complete seclusion, this would have been perfect. No TV, Internet, phone. Unfortunately in today’s society those are things that are mostly needed. Then when I went to check out early because of those issues, the owner did not want to be very fair. A one night stay cost me more than a very nice hotel with all the amenities. Lesson learned but I would not stay there again.

Nous avons aimé l'accueil et les commodités de la propriété. Les arbres fruitiers et les fleurs n'étaient pas entièrement à leur maximum mais nous avons apprécié l'environnement paisible et très bien entretenu. Le seul point négatif non négligeable est la nécessité d'avoir un moyen de locomotion.

Funny, charming, welcoming and most endearing, we have made many good friends we now call family. From the beaches, to the mountains, there is an amazing array of nature to explore, enjoy and remember for a lifetime!

Why they chose this property

Located on the Central Pacific Coast, we are only a one and a half hour drive from Juan Santa Maria International Airport (San Jose Airport-SJO) and only ten minutes south of the bustling town of Jaco. Our cozy cottage is minutes away from several local beaches, restaurants and tour operators. Go ziplining through the rainforest canopy, explore the beaches, and enjoy the comforts of home amid the wild, natural beauty of Costa Rica!

What makes this property unique

Lying in the patio hammock, you can forget the concept of time! Early morning coffee on the front porch with the Scarlet Macaws overhead making their daily journey to the ocean to feast on the almendros trees, one can easily shed layers of stress... and your day has just begun!
