Portzvue is situated on Barbados west coast, an area which is often referred to as fashionable, cultured and alive. The property overlooks the turquoise waters of Port St Charles Marina. It is fully furnished throughout and comprises of 3 double bedrooms all with air conditioning and each with en-suite. The lounge / dining / kitchen area has high ceiling fans, it is also open planned with a sea view balcony, which allows you to take in the spectacular views across the west coast.

All linen including bath and beach towels are provided, towels are provided. Housekeeper/Cooker available on request (additional cost).

Worst vacation
Property photos, description & reviews are not reflective of current state of condo. Multiple & ongoing issues; property is not being maintained. Very poor communication with property manager. Service staff (housekeeping, grounds & pool) sporadic. Fridge hardly adequate (ice-maker not working, missing shelves which limited storage, meat spoiled). Pool appeared to have black mold on the sides & bottom. AC only worked for 2 hours at a time; necessary to reset through the night. Locked out of unit 2 nights before leaving; property manager did not respond. Fortunately, owner responded & reset code so we could get in. A miserable experience.

we stayed March 2023. Have an issue on arrival as the property manager wasn't there and we could get the electricity and AC working properly. In the end I had to call the owner in UK who was brilliant and helped us The house is spacious and was great for 2 couples. We did have an AC issue but the owner called a repair man and that was fixed Nothing else went wrong. We had a fantastic time. The place was clean, in a quiet zone. U can walk to the beach and town, but as we rented a car, we drove all over the island House has good pressure for showers, pool is great but we didn't use it much - very private at the rear of the house. Huge kitchen. We ate most of the time on the front balcony, where u see the sunsets Went to Heywoods beach twice (snorkel) bit our fav's were Bath (no one there) and Paynes (waves) House provided beach towels which was a huge plus -there is a washer and dryer and clothes line There is a Jordans supermarket in town and prices were pretty good Owner responds within an hour if you need hime. The local property manager - we never saw or heard of until the last day The kitchen / dining area does get warn - but 2 massive ceiling fans and front / rear doors open help the airflow. 4 bathrooms were updated and spotless Off street parking with closed gates - very safe No traffic at all in front of the house. The house if built into the hill sono one behind either. On one side is an empty lot, the other is a house but never saw anyone Would I book here again-YES

Great family vacation spot.
This property was fantastic. The pool was amazing and we had a great time. The house was very hot on the main floor which would be my only downside. Bedrooms were nice and cool though. Overall a really good value for $ and everything you need! The daily pool side monkey show was a bonus that the kids loved.

Great place, but needs work to fix electrical problems.
The place is clean, spacious and the having the pool was great. There were a couple minor hiccups that were fixed right away, but two large ones that weren't fixed at all. The lighting needs to be addressed. Between burnt out bulbs and broken fixtures, there was so little light in the living room and dining room that it made the space unusable after the sun went down. We ended up pulling the table into the kitchen so we could see to eat. It was identified on our first night there, and nothing was done about it for the duration of our stay. We also were pretty frustrated by the AC in the bedrooms. You can't set a temperature, you can only push a button to turn it on for 2 hours. In theory the instructions were to push a second and third time to make it stay on longer, but we couldn't make it work. Instead we had to get up through the night to restart the unit.

3 brilliant weeks at Portzvue
We’re so happy that we chose to stay at Portzvue Villa! The villa was spacious, clean and a true home away from home. We loved the pool with loads of beach towels provided.. a bbq with a full gas bottle, plenty of outdoor seating, friendly maintenance staff and the laundry room packed with fresh bedding for whenever we needed it. The area is a safe, quiet, and only a short walk to the beach.. Chris and Sonia were always quick to reply with any questions and I truly can’t wait to return!!
