Absolutely perfect!!!
We booked this amazing property for my fathers 87th birthday get away. He loves the outdoors, fishing and family, and this was my gift to him…he truly loved it! We have been many places, this cabin is exceptional. On first arrival, clean with clear instruction, communication and even complimentary treats. Extremely clean, and property is as described in vrbo. There was something for everyone, we had a total of 17, this included 3 children, and we brought our dogs. You can see and feel the love is poured into this place by its owners, they even leave a fun game to play with them ( don't want to give too much away, that was our favorite part! ). The hot tub, fire pit, boat and game room where very well taken care of, and ready to jump in and use. We will definitely rent again. These are very kind people sharing their much loved space, thank you.

About the host

Hosted by Donna & John Clark

Host profile image
Donna and John Clark began their lodging business in 1994 with one room in their home which they converted into a bed and breakfast room. Now, almost 20 years later, along with some of their grown 7 children and 17 grandchildren, they own and manage 12 bed and breakfast rooms and 4 waterfront vacation rental homes. It is a family business that has brought joy to their family as well as to the hundreds of vacationers who have stayed with them.

Why they chose this property

The privacy of this property is unmatched with its 16 acres of waterfront grounds; large groups are free to enjoy their vacation without fear of disturbing neighbors. It is a recreational paradise with pontoon boat, unlimited boat gas, kayaks, paddle boards, waterfront hot tub, lit volleyball court, adjacent game building with pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, jute box, etc.

What makes this property unique

Built and equipped for large groups. Ultimate privacy. Many facets of recreation on grounds and nearby. Close proximity (1/2 hour or less) to St. Lawrence University, Clarkson University, and 2 SUNY schools make it a resource for conferences, visiting sports teams parents, etc.

4 miles away is Higley Flow State Park with sandy beach. The Beaver Pond Nature Trail has interpretive signs that describe the six distinct habitats through which the trail passes. Hiking trails double as cross-country ski trails in winter, when snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing are also excellent.
