Among other things, the island of Romo is only 40 minutes drive away, from where you can take a day trip to Sylt or in good weather can insert a wonderful and relaxing day at the beach. The well-known Noldemuseum just behind the German border is a popular destination especially on bike rides. And a stroll through the old town of Tønder, with its numerous small shops, museums and entertainment venues, is worth over again. A globally unique sight this renowned natural wonder 'Black Sun': In spring and autumn, thousands of starlings find a huge swarm together and darken in their search for food, the sun.
