Escape to the mountains in this newer, Non-Smoking, three bedroom plus loft, beautifully furnished, log home in Breckenridge, Colorado. Located just 5 minutes (1.5 miles) from downhill skiing, and walking distance to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country ski trails. We have large screen TVs, Huge video library appropriate for all age groups in the living room and loft. Private outdoor hot tub
We have a fully applianced kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, heated slate tile floors, small appliances, including a Keurig, and huge island/snack bar.

Where else in North America can you experience four world-class ski resorts, all within the same county and within minutes of one another. Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin Ski Resorts offer skiing and snowboarding from mid-October to May.

Winter or summer, Breckenridge has so much to offer. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor private hot tub. Shopping, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sledding, tubing, ice skating, dinner sleigh rides, snowshoeing, 18 hole golf courses, fishing, horseback riding, sailing, chair-lift rides, guided nature hikes, alpine slides, mountain biking, festivals, gold panning, whitewater rafting, and so much more!
We do recommend a 4WD vehicle when driving in the mountain areas of Colorado during the winter months

Breck Ski Week
We had a great week skiing at Breckenridge. The log home was fantastic, in great condition and tastefully decorated. We had room for two vehicles in the garage and visitors in the drive. We cooked our meals here and the kitchen was well equipped. Tom and Kris thanks for opening your home to guests. We've been coming to Summit County for 20 years and this was a memorable home.

Fantastic Stay
Really enjoyed the property. Ski'd at Copper with a 30 minute drive time and there was a brewery down the hill which was tasty.

Fantastic Log Cabin in the Hills
Fantastic location close to the Ski Resort and beautiful neighborhood. We felt spoiled. The large wood accents were so fun and gave us a warm cozy vibe with plenty of space. Your definitely out of the city and can relax. The appliances are top notch, we were also impressed with the well stocked kitchen. Enjoy!

Perfect quiet getaway!
This house was perfect for a week-long getaway! I took a week vacation while my husband worked remotely for the week - with just the two of us, we had plenty of room to spread out; he was able to use the upstairs loft as an office for the week, while I hung out downstairs. The location of the property was a great location for hiking - I was able to walk out the door and take my pup on walks up to Peaks 6 and 7. It was also a short drive to town. The house was super clean, and was stocked with everything you needed. My husband loved getting in the hot tub for evening soaks in the crisp fall weather. We also happened to be up there during peak leaf season - which was an added bonus! I'd definitely stay here again.

Great house - pictures do not do it justice! Fabulous location - close to slopes and great walking trails. Fully stocked kitchen and great hot tub to relax in after day of skiing.

We currently live in Wisconsin, but Breckenridge is definately our second home. We first visited Breckenridge as a timeshare exchange back in 1990 and absolutely fell in love the the town and all its activities and charm. We enjoy hiking, running, snowshoeing, and nature. We decided to buy some land and build a home for our entire family to enjoy

Why they chose this property

We decided to build our log home in 2002 to have a place for family and friends to visit. Because we are huge animal lovers, we decided on a home instead of a condo so we could bring our dogs with us to Breckenridge. We love the location, being so close to skiing and one block from hiking and only a short distance to town.

What makes this property unique

We looked at several floor plans before building our home and wanted a very open floor plan, which we have. Our living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one massive room with the open loft overlooking this area. We also wanted a first floor master suite for our family, friends, & guests, who may have a problem climbing stairs
