A little piece of paradise
This house was fantastic. Very well renovated and maintained, the beds, sheets and towels felt like you were staying in a hotel or bed and breakfast. Loved the king size bed and master bedroom. Very well organized, environmentally friendly with the sorting of recyclables. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Getaway To Recharge Batteries
My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway and we found it here. The house was comfortable with everything we needed and the grocery store just a couple minutes down the road. One night we ordered from Toulany's right down the road. We had fish and chips which were delicious and an inexpensive meal. Regarding the pictures on the website they are accurate. We stayed in the master bedroom which has the king size bed. It was firm, but so comfortable. There were table fans which were adequate for all but the last night when the temperature and humidity rose. We didn't find it necessary to make the request to have an a/c put in and there was a portable unit upstairs, but since it was our last night we managed to sleep without it. In the late evening I was able to capture pictures of the Milky Way once the skies cleared after 3 days of rain. This was a surprise considering there was some street lights in the area. The best part was being able see the Milky Way with the naked eye. The location was close enough to make day trips, but far enough away to be in the country. We were able to take a day trip to Peggy's Cove (about 1hr 15 minutes away) and Lunenburg (approximately 1 hour from Peggy's Cove) and Halifax(about 30 minutes). We were able to visit the Citadel in Halifax on Canada Day and saw their demonstrations. Dartmouth is about 20 minutes away with so many restaurant offerings. The owners were easy to communicate with and available should we need anything. They make staying at the house easy and enjoyable. This was a perfect getaway!

Peaceful and easy-just what was needed
We very much enjoyed our pleasant stay in this spotless, well organized house. It's our fifth time renting in Nova Scotia, but first time on the Eastern Shore, and this is a special place. There are water views from many of the rooms. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We enjoyed walking the nearby Gaetz Brook trail and went swimming in nearby lakes. The house is close to many glorious beaches. A. J. replied quickly to any questions we had. The mosquitoes were around, but bug spray definitely helped!

Super-clean, regularly updated, well maintained, both modern and historic. Cozy seaside with tidal breezes, south facing, built 150 ft from waters edge, which was only possible 100 years ago. Super-Lux King bed. We let the home occasionally. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

What makes this property unique

Recently updated, has a modern touch, yet still feels historic. Perfectly situated facing South West over an Atlantic seaside estuary inlet. Downtown Halifax is not far.
