About this property

2 Bedroom Lockoff Unit at a Beautiful Ski in Ski out Resort

Breckenridge is one of Colorado's premier ski resorts. A small town with an internationally renowned ski resort in its backyard.
Grand Timber Lodge is one of only a few luxury ski-in ski-out resorts in Breckenridge seated at the base of Peak 9. To ski out, there is a ski trail across the road that takes you to the Snowflake lift. To ski in, there is a ski trail off of Peak 9 that takes you into the resort. The 2 bedroom lockoff unit is the combination of a master and studio unit separated by a door on each side that can be left locked or unlocked.
The Studio unit sleeps up to 4 guests with queen bed and queen sofa bed. Unit has kitchenette (cook top, dishwasher, undercounter frig/freezer, toaster, coffeemaker, eating and cooking utensils, dishes, etc), television, phone, full bath.
The Master unit which also sleeps 4 has a king in the bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in living area, full kitchen, full bath with jetted tub, washer and dryer, fireplace, balcony/patio, 2 televisions, 2 telephones, and more.
Please take note that the unit will not have daily maid service; however, there is a midweek tidy and towel exchange for guests staying 7 nights. Clean sheets and towels for you to change out yourselves are available upon request from housekeeping at no additional charge. Additional cleanings and UV cleaning may be purchased and arranged, please let me know.
The resort features a heated underground garage beneath each of its buildings with 2 parking spaces included in the rental (parking spaces are not unit specific). Electric vehicle chargers are available in specific garages. Other amenities of the resort include complimentary resort shuttles (to ski lifts, gondola, and around town), heated inside/outside pools and hot tubs, sauna and steam room, exercise room, game room, pool table, concierge, private theatre rooms that can be reserved, restaurant, Christy Sports which rents ski and snowboard equipment, ski lockers and more.
Check-in is at 4:00 pm though you can park in the garage from 10:00 am and have resort privileges. Checkout is by 10:00 am. You can purchase late checkout at noon which is currently $50/unit so $100 for studio and master or you can vacate the studio by 10 am and just pay for cleaning of master. Wonderful holiday stay!
We had a wonderful stay during the week of New Years! My husband and I plus our young adult children (in their mid 20's) stayed in the two rooms. There was just enough space for all of us. The condo was well stocked and very clean. Any extra things we needed like extra dishwashing tablets or clothes detergent was supplied very quickly! The heated pool, hot tub and sauna was fabulous! We made some great memories!

Great stay at Grand Timber!
My family and my sister's family stayed at this condo (both the studio and the one bedroom) over New Years. We had a fantastic time. The condo is well stocked and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Pillows, sheets and blankets are good. The property is very conveniently located near the base of Peak 9. You can easily ski almost to the lift (just have to take skis off to cross the parking lot - we went out from behind building 5 and 6). To ski in we went off of snowflake and must have missed the sign, bc we had to walk up hill, the second day we came in from lower sawmill, much easier. We stored our ski's and helmets in the basement lockers (heated). Maybe if you can store them over by Christie Sports it would be easier, but we only skied 2 days, so didn't waste time figuring everything out. My husband and I walked into town 2 mornings. Nice walk down, maybe 7 minutes? We walked once at night (not a lot of street lights, but doable). The shuttle worked out great. We used it twice to get back to the property from downtown and once to go into town. The hotel pools/hot tubs are great! Make sure to go to the spa to get a robe for your stay. I would definitely recommend a stay at this condo and property. Dorothy was great to work with, I was nervous that we weren't booking directly though VRBO, but there is no need to worry. You get a confirmation directly from Grand Timbers.
