Romantic 2-room apartment, 500 meters above the Costa-del-Sol, only 7 kilometers to the beach. Spectacular view of the Mediterranean, idyllically located in the middle of the Campo on one of the hills above the Costa del Sol. Surrounded by almond and olive groves.
The cozy 2-room apartment (40 sqm) has a very personal atmosphere and is lovingly furnished: 1 living/dining room (with fold-away couch), semi-open-plan kitchen with large fridge, 1 bedroom with big closet, bathroom with shower, 3 large and sunny terraces, natural outdoor lounge, Internet: broadband cable and Wi-Fi for free.
The finca 'Mi Cabaña' is surrounded by vineyards, olive and almond groves. An ideal venue to unwind from everyday life, sunbathe or enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and the blue Mediterranean. Take day trips into the Moorish past of Andalusia, sniff the sea air in nearby Caleta, or relax on one of the sandy beaches or in a quiet secluded cove.
Many Andalusian attractions only a half-day or day trip away: picturesque Nerja and its famous cave, Granada with the World Heritage Site of Alhambra, the bustling port of Malaga, or Ronda, Seville and Cordoba. Hikers can quickly reach the mountains of the nature reserve of the Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara or the rock formations of El Torcal. The typical Moorish ‘white villages’ nearby, or the hidden Lost Village of El Acebuchal are particularly charming and well worth a visit. From Sayalonga it is only a short drive to the sea, where there are both lively coastal resorts with wide sandy beaches and secluded quiet coves.
The Bodega 'Vino y Arte' is a 15-minute walk from the finca.
Sayalonga is a tranquil mountain village with about 1000 inhabitants, one of the typical 'white villages' with a long history dating back to Roman and Moorish times. There are several restaurants and tapas bars, some small shops and supermarkets / grocery stores, as well as a 'museo morisco' with exhibitions on the village’s past. Once a week is market day on the picturesque marketplace. In the nearby coastal towns there are numerous large supermarkets, a shopping mall and daily street markets.
The journey by car from Malaga airport is simple and uncomplicated. We are happy to provide detailed directions and will meet you at Sayalonga. From there, a 3-km, partly unpaved road (now largely cemented) leads to the finca.
Getting to the finca without a car is also possible. An approximately 20 min hike through the delightfully hilly countryside will take you to the village. Regular buses connect Sayalonga to Torre del Mar, Malaga, Granada.
Pick-up from Torre del Mar bus station or Malaga airport is possible (by arrangement). On request, we will be happy to send you up-to-date information on bus connections.
