Beautiful little escape!
The home here is lovely, quiet, close to grocery and shopping (18 minutes to historic Fairhaven). This is the third time we've stayed and really enjoyed spending time on the private dock, relaxing on the deck and visiting two local parks nearby. We highly recommend this rental, we're always so happy with how clean and comfortable the home is. Thanks again!
Stay over the 4th of July week 2019
My 9yo grandson and I stayed for 4 days over the 4th of July week. We had a blast. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the lake. We had our kayaks and were able to play out in the water whenever we wanted to. There is also a skate park just a few miles away that we went to often. We even were able to watch the fireworks from multiple locations: the deck had a great view, the beach we could build a fire and watch or in our case we watched from the comfort and warmth of the living room. I would definitely recommend the lake house.
Candy and Loden
This property is so beautiful and clean and the best views ever!! We saw deer in the yard when we went to leave early in the morning.
Property is stocked with everything! We definitely stay here again next time we go to Bellingham. Sad to be back in the Phoenix heat. :-(
Much better than expected!
This charming, clean, well appointed cottage is just across the street from Lake Whatcom. The views are amazing. The house very comfortable including the beds and living room furniture. The deck is fantastic. There is Lake access with a nice area to hang out on.
Everything of the Highest Quality
We loved everything about this place. The large picture windows looking out at the lake, and additional windows throughout the cabin kept things light and airy, even when it was raining. Everything in the cabin is of high quality, with touches of beauty everywhere you look: a stained glass lamp in the bathroom, art-deco lampshades in the living room, sturdy craftsman furniture, and charming prints on the walls. The deck almost doubles the living space, and the yard features attractive landscaping and yet more space. We didn't venture across the road to the beach, but surely on warm summer days that would be another option. The interior lighting and heating system are perfect. Really, we couldn't have been more delighted with our 3-day stay. The owners obviously care about the place and take pains to ensure their guests' comfort.
very relaxing and exactly as advertised
