The Gigglhirn mountain farm, steeped in history, is located at 1677 meters above sea level, in one of the most original valleys in South Tyrol, the Ultental. In the midst of a still intact natural and cultural landscape, thanks to its unique location, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley, the lake and the surrounding mountain peaks of the Ultental, right up to the Sarntal mountains.

Our apartment has been furnished and designed for you with a lot of heart and craftsmanship, mostly by the young farmers himself, and invites you to linger with its comfortable furnishings, rustic flair and cozy atmosphere.

The apartment is well equipped: In addition to a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, you will also find a hairdryer and towels in the bathroom. In addition to the 4 ceramic hobs and the oven, the well-equipped kitchenette also includes a coffee machine, a hand blender or a kettle. The kitchen is equipped with 8 sets of dishes and cutlery, and of course with various pots, pans and various kitchen utensils. For the little ones we are happy to provide a travel cot and a high chair.

The room furnishings were made of solid Swiss pine for you. The positive properties of Swiss stone pine have been valued and used in our valley for centuries. However, the positive effects of this wood on physical and psychological well-being have also been scientifically proven. Look forward to a particularly good quality of relaxation and sleep in our zirmbed beds and the wonderful scent of this wood!

For the children there is a children's play corner with various games and handicraft books, and you will also find various high-quality board games for young and old.

Enjoy a sunny afternoon on the lawn with deck chairs, benches and a table and enjoy the breathtaking view. Your kids can now let off steam in our small playground, including the play house made of local wood. You are also welcome to relax with a book from our library with alpine and historical reading from South Tyrol and the Ultental.

Our farm is an ideal starting point for a number of different short and longer mountain tours, hikes and walks for young and old. So you can hike directly from our farm to the Marschnellalm, the three lakes, the Riemerberglalm, the high thief, the Koflraster lakes, the Koflrasteralm, the Hochjoch or on our local mountain Peilstein. You can also discover and explore our surrounding area on various idyllic forest walks. Our farm is therefore the ideal vacation spot for experienced mountain lovers and leisurely explorers.
