Nothing stands between you and the ocean but the carpet of beautiful grass under your feet. Our lanai spills onto the well maintained grass and garden area making our views unforgettable. We have enhanced views with sliding glass doors in both the Living Room and Main Bedroom.

This popular and well-maintained private complex is nestled between the best south Maui beaches Kamaole I and II with exceptional swimming, snorkeling and turtle watching outside your door.

Our 2 BR condo has been completely renovated with comfortable furnishings and authentic Hawaiian hospitality. New LCD TV's in the Living Room (40 inch; Smart/Apple TV), Primary Bedroom (32 inch; w/Apple TV) and Second Bedroom (27 inch; w/Apple TV).

The Primary Bedroom includes a King-Size bed with 100% cotton sheets, a large walk-in closet, and OCEAN FRONT.

Our Second Bedroom includes 2 twin beds (convertible to king) with 100% cotton sheets, double door closet.

Our OCEANFRONT ground floor lanai flows out onto a luxurious grass and garden area only a few steps to the beaches and freshwater pool. Also unobstructed views of Molokini Crater and the West Maui mountains.

The desirable ground floor unit is perfect for all ages and any family. The Royal Mauian is one of the most well-loved condominium complexes in South Kihei. Walking distance to many specialty shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Minutes from WAILEA shops, fine dining and more beautiful beaches.

The rooftop garden (completely refurbished in 2022) is unique. The full prep kitchen and BBQ also make a perfect gathering place for meals and enjoying sunsets with views of Haleakalā

Please note: WE DO NOT HAVE A/C.
Our building is designed to allow ocean front trade winds to naturally cool our condo. We also have ceiling fans in each room to keep air flow comfortable year-round. If you absolutely cannot imagine living without A/C, our Ohana experience may not be for you.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm/Check-out time is 11:00 am. There is no assigned parking. One car space per condo.

Wonderful Welcome to Paradise!
Prime Kihei location right on the beach. Perfect for whale watching, walking almost anywhere and amazing sunsets. Condo is welcoming, comfortable, clean and well provisioned. Owner Gretchen is friendly and responsive as are the employees at the Royal Mauian.

Great Location
In between two lovely beaches. Can’t beat the location and the views of sunsets and Humpback Whales, which spend their winters in the islands between November and late March. I would not say that this is a “Newly Renovated” unit however. It’s nice and has everything that one needs for a great vacation, especially the gorgeous rooftop garden, but I’d guess that the Reno’s were done more than a few years ago.

Great communication throughout our stay , they emailed us the first morning because their was a water leak they needed to fix and they compensated us well for the disruption without me asking for it . Trish was very helpful ! We loved the ground floor and easy access for your morning walk on the beach. We loved the Hawaiian feeling this condo created ! We will be back !

A great place in the heart of Kihei
Terrific sunset views, easy access to the pool and local beaches. Short walk or drive to local activities or shopping. Parents + 2 kids easily accommodated, with a pull-out couch if you have more.

Forever changed by Maui
This home was in the perfect location, the amenities provided were wonderful. It’s located on the best beach. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. Kitchen is excellent for what we needed to cook meals. We loved the beach play stuff, body boards. Chairs, sand toys and umbrellas. The primary bedroom is quite warm, we Utilized all fans in the house… an air conditioner unit would be a lovely addition, for the hot nights. We will definitely be back to stay. The hosts are helpful and so easy to communicate with.

Why they chose this property

We are at the best beaches in Maui. Kama'ole Park is divided into three distinct beach areas. Kama'ole I has the largest and loveliest beach of the three with fine white sand and great swimming conditions. There's even a grassy area at the south end for picnics and playing. Kama'ole II is located a little further south and the beach is a little smaller but has also has good swimming. Kama'ole III is very popular with the locals. The waves here are more consistent making it a great place for boogie boarding and paddle boards. The sandy beach is small but it has a large grassy area, perfect for kite flying, picnics, and relaxing.

What makes this property unique

World class shopping is minutes away at The Shops at Wailea. There is a wide selection of shops and restaurants available. Tommy Bahamas is a favorite place to hang out with local music nightly. Ask for the lunch menu for dinner time – the Steak salad is a must.

You will also enjoy golfing; the Maui Ocean is seen from most holes on the courses in Wailea.

Enjoy long walks along the beach and pathways connecting each beach - we actually walk from Royal Mauian to the Grand Wailea and back in just over one hour.

Enjoy paddle boarding - if you have not yet tried this you MUST.

Snorkeling/Scuba boats and tours launch 1/2 mile away with 2
trips daily to Molokini Underwater Crater, but you may also rent equipment
across the street and encounter wide varieties of sea-life near the volcanic
granite seawall a few steps from our door.

Yoga is 2 times a week at the lawn next door. Check with the front desk for a schedule.
