The thatched roof house Deichgut stands on the Eiderstedt peninsula in Schleswig-Holstein, only a few kilometers away from the well-known holiday resort of St. Peter-Ording with its beautiful beaches. The North Sea and the dike at Norderheverkoog are only one kilometer away from the house. There you can go for a peaceful walk or ride a bike.
The cozy Deichgut holiday home has space for six people. There are two comfortable bedrooms on the ground floor. One of the bedrooms has a double bed (1.80 x 2.00). The other bedroom has two single beds (90 x 2.00 each). Both rooms are equipped with a roller shutter, so that it is dark in the morning and in the evening to sleep in the summer.
On the upper floor there is another small cozy bedroom with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00) and blackout blind. Here you can sleep peacefully right under the thatched roof and with a view of the beautiful garden and the fields. The bedrooms are modern, cozy and individually decorated. All beds have high quality mattresses. For smaller children there is also a travel cot and fall protection for the large beds.
The Deichgut has two new bathrooms on the ground floor with shower and towel warmer.
From every window you can see the idyllic Eiderstedt landscape, the open fields, meadows and the marsh landscape. On request you can get bed linen and towels so that everything is taken care of on site.
The living area of the thatched roof house is very spacious with its 40 square meters. A dining table for eight people, two comfortable sofas and a beautiful wing chair invite you to chat, relax and read. A cast iron stove from Sweden creates a cozy atmosphere. Even with the rough North Sea weather, it is wonderfully cozy here in every season. There is a flat screen TV and free WiFi. From the windows you look into the large, beautifully landscaped garden with the old trees and over the wooden terrace.
The kitchen-cum-living room is spacious, bright and Frisian cozy. The equipment is perfect for self-catering and leaves nothing to be desired: dishwasher, coffee machine (Krups / Nespresso machine with milk frother and filter coffee machine), oven, microwave, toaster, egg cooker, kettle, mixer and juicer are available. In the beautiful kitchen there is also a dining table with space for six people. From here you can watch beautiful sunsets over the dike in the evening.
On request, fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door every morning in Deichgut. In cooperation with the Morgengold company (www. Morgengold. De) we offer a bread service.
The beautiful and charming thatched roof house stands on a beautiful ingrown 2500 square meter plot with old fruit trees. Everyone can find their place in the garden - to play football, run around, read and relax at the same time. Anyone who goes on vacation in the dike does not need to fear car traffic. The thatched roof house stands on a small path that nobody else uses. There is a beautiful gravel driveway with two parking spaces for the greatest possible comfort from arrival.
After a day on the beach or a bike tour, relaxation in the dyke comes all by itself. In the beautiful garden, a beach chair and the wooden terrace with comfortable chairs and cushions invite you to take a break. There is also a climbing frame, a sandpit and a small children's playhouse on the large property. Children will find many books, board games and toys in the house.
