This 2200 sq ft, split level home has lots of space for celebrating military graduations or special occasions with your loved ones. Large living and dining room area, separate family room and large backyard patio gives room to spread out. The fully equipped kitchen means you can make your service member's favorite meals. Table service provided for 12, so you can even invite new friends. Large dining room table makes enjoying your home cooking or take out easy. Most rooms have a ceiling fan. The large fenced back yard and patio has room to play. Located 1 block off Historic Route 66.
The master bedroom has a king bed, a second bedroom also has a king bed, one bedroom has a queen bed and one bedroom has one queen bed and one double bed. Two bedrooms have space for a port-a-crib. The family room has a daybed.
If staying longer than three days but less than 7 days, please complete an inquiry form and get a personal quote. Daily rate drops after 3 nights, and the automatic rate quote system does not allow for that.
This home is a great setting for visiting grandchildren. There is room for them to sleep over for more quality time together. Some games are provided, as well as cookie sheets and cake pans.

Pets only allowed with prior approval, and must be kept in the family room or the fenced backyard. This home has lots of steps. It is not handicapped accessible.
The security deposit should be mailed with the last page of the signed contract. When property is left undamaged and instructions followed, we will mail the check back to you.

Old Stagecoach Museum on the square in Waynesville is open for tours Wednesdays and Saturdays, April to September.

As you go east through Saint Robert to get to the main gate of Fort Leonard Wood, you'll pass the only remaining original Route 66 roadside park in Missouri, now with the addition of a military tank. Route 66 enthusiasts find our home a great base from which to explore landmarks to the east and west, as route runs right through Waynesville. Visit the scenic and historic bridge route though Devil's Elbow and envision it with trucks and cross-country traffic to understand why the Pulaski County section of Route 66 was called Bloody 66. The bluffs surrounding Devil's Elbow were once listed as one of the seven scenic wonders of Missouri.
Fort Leonard Wood features a free indoor-outdoor military museum and free batting cages. Small fees for bowling and fishing (MO fishing license required). Military families can shop at the PX and commissary.
Public golf courses in the area include the 18-hole Piney Valley Golf Course and driving range on Fort Leonard Wood. Saint Robert Municipal Golf Course, Richland Country Club and Public Golf, and Oak Hills Country Club Golf, Dixon, are all 9-hole courses.
50 miles from the large outlet mall at the Lake of the Ozarks, in Osage Beach, Missouri. 80 miles to Springfield, MO, home of Bass Pro shops. One hour and forty-five minutes to Branson, MO.
Jefferson City, MO, the state capital is 75 miles north. There you can join historical and ghost tours at the Missouri State Penitentiary which operated from 1836 to 2004 (reservations required). The inside of the Missouri State Capital building was recently rated as being the most beautiful of all 50 United State capitals by USAToday. The drive to Jefferson City is very scenic, and takes just short of 1.5 hours.

Daily rate reduced by $20 for 4th, 5th and 6th night. Damage deposit can be paid by mailing us a check, which we hold and return to you after your stay if all is well, or paid through the online booking, and we still will refund it if everything is ok when you leave. Please let us know if you prefer to mail us the deposit check, so we can remove it from your online payment amount.
Pets must be approved before booking, and the damage deposit when bringing a pet is $250. Pets are to stay in the family room and in the fenced back yard.
