I felt myself like at home from the first day.
We spent 10 days at the guesthouse and we had a really good time. The place was very quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view. It was equipped with pretty much everything a household needs. As the house was on the hillside, cellular networks were unreliable. However, it had a very good Internet connection, so if your phone supports WiFi calls, it will not be a problem. The place is a bit remote, but you can find almost everything withing 10-15 minutes of driving distance. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for everybody who wants to spend some time in peace.

great hospitality at Velencei to in Hungary
We had a great stay at this house. Zsuzsa is a wonderful hostess, she keeps on top of any requests, needs, problems you may have. The wonderfully equipped kitchen was also well-stocked with coffee, tea, various types of sugar and a huge collection of hot chocolate . We enjoyed having our meals on the patio adjacent to the kitchen. The patio was also a popular place to hang out and relax, with its comfortable furniture. The house is on 3 levels, carved into a mountain-side with 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the top floor, one large bedroom and a full bath and the kitchen on the middle floor and a large living room on the ground floor. There is a great view from the top patio. The wifi works well except on the ground floor. There is no air-conditioning, but we did not need it, the window gave enough cool breeze at night and during the day we closed the windows and the curtains. There are fans in every room. Be careful with the draft, we managed to break a glass door due to the draft banging it, Zsuzsa had it fixed within a day and never held a grudge about it. She also let us use the washing machine when we needed some laundry done. The lake is a short drive away, but would be too far on foot, the beach close to the house was wonderful, very few people on a week-day, but can get crowded during the week-ends. Overall a very spacious, pleasant house, wonderful hospitality, a great value! Thank you Zsuzsa!

Super ausgestattetes Haus mit individuellem Charme
Wir haben als Großfamilie (mit 4 Generationen!) einige wunderschöne Tage in Sukoró in dem geräumigen und sehr familienfreudlichen Haus verbracht (allerdings erstreckt sich die Wohnfläche über drei Stockwerke, das könnte beispielsweise für Senioren eine Herausforderung darstellen). Die etwas versteckte Lage des Ferienhauses oberhalb des Dorfes am Hang, mitten in der Natur, hat sehr zur Erholung beigetragen - der Blick ist großartig, es duftete überall nach blühenden Bäumen und wir konnten sogar Rehe und Damwild vor dem Haus beobachten! Wir waren ausgiebig am Velencer See unterwegs und genossen die entspannte Atmosphäre dort. Auch Székesfehérvár oder Budapest sind mit dem Auto zügig zu erreichen. Zurück am Ferienhaus, drehte unser Jüngster mit seinem Dreirädchen begeistert seine Runden auf der großen Terrasse, während die Erwachsenen in der bestens ausgestatteten Küche werkelten und die Tage dann ebenfalls auf der schönen Terrasse ausklingen ließen. Zsuzsanna erlebten wir als ganz besonders hilfsbereite und angenehme Gastgeberin, die durch viele Kleinigkeiten in der Ausstattung des Hauses für eine persönliche Atmosphäre sorgte (z.B. Körperpflegeprodukte in den Bädern). All das trug dazu bei, dass wir uns gar nicht so sehr wie "Klienten", sondern eher wie Freunde des Hauses fühlten. Vielen Dank für alles, Zsuzsanna!

Tolles, geräumiges Haus mit wunderschönem Ausblick
Wir waren zu acht für einen Junggesellenabschied hier. Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen an einem Hang und bietet von der Terasse einen unglaublich schönen Ausblick auf den Velencer See. Innen gibt es jede Menge Platz, viele Schlafmöglichkeiten, zwei saubere Bäder und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die drei Terassen laden zum gemütlichen Frühstück oder Grillen ein. Aufgrund der Lage bieten sich sowohl Ausflüge an den Balaton als auch nach Budapest an, was beides in unter einer Stunde erreichbar ist. Sowohl die Kommunikation als auch die Übergabe mit Zsuzsanna war absolut problemlos und sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns geholfen, ein tolles Wochenende zu verbringen.

Great place for the extended family
The Hilltop house in Sukoro is a great place to spend your vacation in Hungary. It is located at the end of a narrow and steep road through the small village of Sukoro. The house itself is vary spacious and has good facilities for 10 people, even 12 if the ground floor is used. The balcony outside the kitchen is a very cosy place for all meals and relaxation. On the grounds there are grape vines and an apricot tree. When we were there, the apricots were just about ripe, great for a small snack. All in all, we warmly recommend this property.
