About this property

Centrally located private chalet w/ Hot Tub and amazing views!

Three chalets: The Steller Jay chalet is calendered and booked here. The Wild Rose chalet at VRBO 150525; the Eagles Aerie chalet at VRBO 462399

The three chalets are each private and secluded on five acres of hillside among spruce, hemlock, birch and willow trees over-looking Trail Lake in the CHUGACH NATIONAL FOREST. Each has it's own hot tub, high speed internet, an amazing view.

CENTRALLY LOCATED in the middle of all there is to do on the KENAI PENINSULA:
15 minutes to Cooper Landing; 30 to Seward; 1 hour to Whittier, Prince William Sound, Alyeska, and Soldotna & the Lower Kenai; 2.5 hours to Homer; and 90 minutes from Anchorage.

Relax surrounded by snow-capped mountains, overlooking turquoise-colored Trail Lake.

The world-famous KENAI & RUSSIAN Rivers are just minutes away - world class fishing for salmon and trout, or rafting and bear viewing.

KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK, EXIT GLACIER & HARDING ICEFIELD, and saltwater fishing on Resurrection Bay are also only minutes away.

Superb HIKING/mountain BIKING trails through lush forests to alpine meadows blanketed with wildflowers beside crystal clear snow-melt streams, waterfalls, ponds and lakes surrounded by glaciated mountain majesty are minutes away.

Our beautifully appointed, comforts-of-home-and-then-some chalet is your ideal home base for adventures on the Kenai Peninsula.

THE PERFECT WINTER RETREAT

SNOWMOBILING, Nordic and Alpine SKIING and BOARDING just out the door for your daytime adventures in the world famous Chugach Mountains back-country.

Relax watching the sunrise and alpenglow paint the mountains the full palate of Alaskan winter colors.

Soothe your winter aches in the HOT TUB under a dazzling star-lit sky- and if you're lucky, catch the NORTHERN LIGHTS. The hot tub is the best place to catch seasonal meteor showers and the aurora away from city lights.

Fabulous scenery and location
Our cruise was cancelled so we flew into Anchorage and booked this home. Gary met us at the door and showed us around. The house was perfect and beautiful. It was about 1 1/2 hrs from Anchorage and 1 hr from Seward. We were able to see sites in Seward and in the area. We would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. Gary was very nice and visited a few times as we were leaving. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves coming to the area.

beautiful property but bad wifi
The property is beautiful with great view and hot tub. However, the wifi at property was extremely spotty. We had to reboot router every 30 min.

Amazing Views
The views from the house and hot tub were amazing! We enjoyed our stay at this house and the fact that it was stocked with all the essentials we needed for the 4 days. Our fishing trip in Holmer was cancelled due to the weather and the owner responded to my text immediately and assisted with finding us a guide to go out fishing! The wifi at the house was intermittent at times. Overall great stay and we were pleased with the owners quick responses to questions!
