The cottage is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac with private beach access. It basks in all day sun and has spectacular sweeping views of the beach and surrounding forested escarpment.
Within walking distance of Granity village, pubs, cafes, art and pottery galleries, library and local amenities.
Activities in the area include magnificent cycling tracks, beach, river and mountain walks, tramping, fishing, whitebaiting... and more.
A perfect place to explore the spectacular northern Buller scenic route to the Mokihinui River and Karamea, or........ just put your feet up and soak in the relaxing ambiance of the cottage and its environs.
Old Ghost Road walk and various well-known walks and cycling tracks nearby.

Once here, you may not want to leave……… see and explore all the area has to offer or just relax and treat yourself, leaving rejuvenated and replenished.

venture out for some adventurous cycling in the area especially noted are Old Ghost Road and Denniston tracks
take lengthy beach walks into the spectacular west coast sunsets
enjoy sand tickled toes and tired feet massaged by the warm surf-smoothened pebbles
stroll down the road for take-aways from Grumpys at the Ngakawau Hotel pub
wander further down the road to the Charming Creek walkway
venture further afield to explore walkways, local mining and natural history sites
then......... fall asleep in comfy beds.

Oh …. And don’t forget to pack the gear – cycling / fishing / whitebaiting / tramping / bucket and spade / kite …………

Should you stay coincide with a low tide – gather kai moana. Savour on the deck accompanied by spectacular West Coast sunsets - an added extra special ingredient for evening meals.

Minimum stay of 2 nights
May not be suitable for small children due to the raised deck + unfenced property + large water body (lagoon) next to property with no barriers or fencing
No smoking on the property
Guest numbers strictly limited
No animals
Linen and cleaning generally not provided - can be arranged if needed.

NOTE: Under the Kiwi bach great guest tradition : Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels).
