'Top of the Hill' Sea views andamp; native bush

Comfortable, funky, fun living quarters in a private, quiet bush setting.. Clever use of corrugated iron, te-tree, rope etc. Enjoy our bush hut/fisherman retreat theme with a great collection of memorabilia from the 'old days'. Something to amuse everyone. Brilliant under cover fish cleaning facilities and smokers. NEW Indoor pizza oven area and bar. This has been a real hit with our regulars.

Make use of our deck out the front of the property accessible for all to use. This overlooks Coromandel township, harbour and beyond with some of the most stunning views and sunsets.

The native timber bar with swivel stools is a favourite for many of our visitors. Cook your BBQ undercover, rain or sun and enjoy the peace and quiet. Make use of the covered fish cleaning facilities. There is lots of safe car and boat parking.

You are only minutes from town here but feel like you could be sitting on top of the world.

Kids will enjoy the rope climb, sand pit, flying fox, see-saw , swing and playground. Take a walk down to the big creek and explore.

The pricing is as follows; $120 for 2 people. extras $25 per person. Cleaning fee extra



Boat hire, 2 x FC430 (Fish City/4.3mt) Centre console, 40hp Yamaha outboards. Live bait tank. Half day $180, whole day $250. Surveyed for 4 people max. MUST have experience. Will launch and retrieve.

Smoking to be outside please, there is a covered verandah and outdoor bar. Thank you.

Dogs welcome by prior arrangement. Fee of $10 per dog.

Long weekend
Such an awesome property. Perfect for our long weekend stay. We were there for a family birthday party at Hauraki House so it was the perfect location. The weather was very wet but the pool table took care of indoor entertainment and lots of fun and laughs were had! Awesome hosts who just waved as they drove by but looked after us with some delicious mussels. Thank you so much for having us. We'll be back!!

What a great place to stay. It has real homely rustic feel that we all thought was great. The memorabilia from the areas past really just set off the great stay we had. I also appreciate the help Rob gave when my boat played up. Thanks guys for the great stay. We'll be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Top of the Hill. The bach was quirky, tidy, had everything we needed (and more). Our hosts were great to deal with, friendly and welcoming and they even gave us fresh fish and mussels. We're considering this for our annual wedding anniversary weekend away!
