My first choice if staying in the area
A very well equiped, and most comfortable place to stay. Everything we wanted was there and all in excellent condition. Probably one of the best self-catering places we have stayed in. Its location is ideal for those who like to walk the coastline near Mortehoe.

Hi my name is Kate Parker, together with my husband Roger, we own and personally manage the Long Linhay. Our aim is to provide you with the very best accommodation to make your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. As we live close by we are always available if you need any help or advice but will not intrude on your privacy. We have extensive local knowledge and can help you get the best out of your holiday.

Why they chose this property

Roger and I feel very fortunate living in such a beautiful area of the country. Mortehoe is a lovely, warm and welcoming village and the area is steeped in history. We love walking the South West Coast path and exploring Exmoor and never get tired of watching the seals play off Morte Point. The countryside is stunning and each season has its own beauty.

What makes this property unique

The Long Linhay is set in an ideal location. The cottage is perfect for couples who are looking for something a bit special. It is large and comfortable with modern facilities whilst retaining its original character and charm. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and wonderful views with superb walking from the door. However you are only a short distance from the beaches and villages and lots of amenities and tourist attractions should you choose to visit them. You CAN have the best of both worlds!
