Purposely converted, Bobby’s Nook is a cosy, comfortable, well equipped ground floor self-catering holiday apartment with fantastic views from the lounge, country walks and the Cotswold Way straight from its own front door. Central Cotswold location, convenient for the M5, London Paddington 89 mins by train. Many visitor attractions within reach: Shakespeare country, Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Oxford, Cardiff, Bath, Bristol plus many National Trust properties. London 89 mins by train, 2hrs 20 mins by car. The AA has awarded this quality accommodation 4 Stars and we hold Covid-19 Confident Certificate.

The peaceful, cosy bedroom has one double bed, blackout blinds and an en suite wet room with a spacious walk in rainfall shower much loved by our guests! The lounge has a very comfortable sofa, coffee table, Smart TV (with Netflix, iPlayer, YouTube, Freeview and inbuilt DVD), radio/CD player, books, maps and games to borrow and dining table and chairs. There is also a desk where you can set up a laptop, recharge mobiles and iPads with the charging station provided.

Outside there is a table and chairs, bench, sunloungers, BBQ and a choice of areas in which to sit, relax, dine, enjoy the view.

The apartment is conveniently located in the central Cotswolds with easy access to the M5. London Paddington 89mins by train direct.

The peaceful countryside surroundings and relaxing atmosphere are perfect for business trips and all types of holiday; cycling, walking, sightseeing or simply relaxing. Visit Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stratford, Oxford, Cardiff, Tewkesbury, Cirencester, Stroud…

Bobby's Nook.
This bungalow is a great place for a single person or couple to stay. The hosts were wonderful. The views were totally amazing!!! I will be returning again!!!

Excellent stay
Delightful property,peaceful spotlessly clean,well equipped kitchen,VERY comfortable bed, great bathroom Netflix was a great bonus. ,super views,we originally booked so we could attend RIAT airshow at RAF Fairford, the area is great especially Cirencester and the Roman museum is wonderful You will be spoilt for choice for pubs and restaurants, . My only gripe was the lack of a vacuum cleaner

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Middleyard. The property itself was immaculate and cleaned to a very high standard. There was a coffee maker with a selection of various flavoured pods and different teas too. Also, delicious biscuits and milk provided. The kitchen had all appliances and utensils necessary for self-catering and all in a spotlessly clean condition. The sitting room was very comfortable with a stunning view of the river Severn and Wales beyond. The bathroom was spacious and with possibly the best shower in any rented accommodation I've ever stayed! Again, the bathroom was exceptionally clean too. I enjoyed 5 nights here and can safely say that if you're looking for a quiet stay in spacious accommodation, beautiful surroundings (a large garden and orchard to enjoy too!) with plenty of walks on your doorstep, then this is your place! I would highly recommend and I would return in a flash.

Whilst I live nearby, and am very pleased to help in any way I can if requested, your privacy is completely respected.

Why they chose this property

Guests love the facilities offered including the superbly equipped separate kitchen and the spacious walk in shower. They also love the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at Bobby's Nook whilst appreciating the proximity of local amenities such as a large supermarket, great restaurants and pubs nearby. Travel is easy: there is a regular, reliable local bus service, railway stations in Stroud and Stonehouse with direct trains to London Victoria (90mins approx) and the apartment is within easy reach of the motorway and other road networks.

The apartment is very well equipped and provides everything you need for your stay; basics such as dishwasher tablets, hand soap and toilet paper are all provided. If you need anything during your stay, please ask, Gill is always happy to help where possible.
