Town: Located just a few miles from the Welsh border in the South Shropshire Hills, Bishops Castle is a town with a rich heritage boasting a weekly market and a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants and is well known for its annual Real Ale festival (and 2 local breweries) as well as numerous other events throughout the year. The town is an ideal base for walkers as it is close to the Welsh Marches and Offa's Dyke which formed the ancient boundary between England and Wales, as well as being within close proximity of the delightful market towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow.
