This detached property in Aviemore sleeps eight people in four bedrooms.

Glencanisp is a detached cottage in the heart of Aviemore. The property has two king-size double rooms which can both be offered as twins and one which has an en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms. There is a ground floor shower room, and a first floor bathroom. The spacious kitchen has a dining area, sofa and multi-fuel stove, there is also a sitting room with multi-fuel stove, and two sun rooms, all ensuring plenty of space to relax together. Outside is off road parking for four cars, and a small rear garden with seat. Glencanisp is perfectly placed for enjoying the amenities and activities of Aviemore and the stunning surrounding countryside.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is an ideal holiday location. The area offers good fishing, walking in the surrounding hills and woodland, and golf with its fine courses. There is also sailing, riding and bird watching, with rare species to be found including Ospreys and Capercaillie. The landscape is dotted with historic castles, tempting distilleries, and is known to millions as the setting for the TV series 'Monarch of the Glen'. You can fish on the River Spey all summer and winter or ski on the Cairngorms and at the Lecht ski centres.

Wonderful location
Fantastic property just a short walk from town. Very comfortable and our host was extremely welcoming and helpful with local and regional recommendations. We will return to this location on future trips.
