Basford View is a cosy semi-detached property in the Staffordshire village of Cheddleton. The holiday home has a double and a twin room, a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with breakfast bar for two and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a rear garden with patio, furniture and raised lawn. Basford View is a convenient base for touring, being close to Churnet Valley Railway, the Roaches, Tittesworth Reservoir and Alton Towers.

Town: The market town of Leek is situated on the western side of The Peak District National Park and is surrounded by lovely Moorland countryside. The town has a charming cobbled market place and there are many examples of fine Victorian architecture - a reminder of the town's prosperity when it was renowned as a silk manufacturing centre. Today Leek offers a wide selection of shops including vast antique emporiums, bookshops and galleries and there is good selection of restaurants and real ale pubs. Alton Towers is less than 20 minutes drive away.

The property was fine and cosy for two people.
Enjoyable, lovely week with good weather. Property absolutely fine but the gas fire was essential especially in November - it would have been too cold in the house without it.
