Lovely secuded cottage in themiddle of amazing scenery
This was a last minute booking and I wanted to find somewhere cosy, clean, and reasonably priced where I could walk and also drive to Snowdon. The cottage is indeed clean with a great kitchen and comfy bed as well as parking. It is pretty remotely situated, so don't expect local supermarkets and bustling nightlife, but within a few miles there is a local pub and within 15 minutes' drive you can get to a major supermarket for supplies. Snowdon itself is about 45 minutes away, but the scenery as you drive there is worth the journey in itself. The mobile and internet coverage is pretty poor as the cottage is surrounded by hills, but there is WiFi, although this was being upgraded when I was there. A TV and DVD player made the post-walk evenings very pleasant. All in all I would certainly book here again. The only heads up I would give is that the driveway down to the cottage is a little bumpy, so if you have a car with a low ground clearance, be careful.
