First floor side view apartment

This is a deluxe, front-line beach villa overlooking the sea. There is a protected area in front of the villa for nesting turtles on our beach. The Villa is located 500 meters from Angulo Surf School (2 time world champion windsurfer). They can provide all the kit for SUP, windsurfing, kite surfing etc. Why play with just one board or kite? Why not try them all?
This completely self-contained, fully furnished, 1 bedroom flat has a kitchen with fridge, stove, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and all the dishes. Just bring your toothbrush! Towels and linen provided. Top end furnishings and everything included. King sized bed with extra thick mattresses ensure your sleeping comfort. Surge protectors provided to safeguard your phone/laptop/tablet etc. Secure storage for equipment. Filtered water for safe drinking water in the flat. We have installed flyscreens to help insure a good night’s sleep. There is a safe in the flat to secure your documents, keys and cash.
Located in Santa Maria on Sal Island which is 20 minutes from Amilcar Cabral International Airport. We can provide an airport shuttle service for €10 (each way) which is a saving of €10 (€5 each way) compared to arranging your own transport. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Avalon Vila sehr genossen. Die Küche ist fast neu und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch die Waschmaschine wußten wir nach der 1. Woche sehr zu schätzen.

Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay....would benefit from a torch or a few candles when power goes off....advertised with tv but none in apartment....close to bars and restaurants....would stay again....owners very friendly and helpful

Clean, well equiped apartment with great hosts.
The apartment was as described; well equiped with everything you would need. It was very clean and well maintained. Vicky and Andre were excellent hosts and very helpful, always checking that all was well. It was about a 10 minute walk to Santa Maria centre for shops, restaurants and beaches. It was very windy when we were there so we couldn't use the balcony and there was construction work going on so there was a lot of dust but this would be temporary so would recommend the apartment to others.

Fantastic apartment and wonderful views.
Apartment was very clean on arrival and very well equipped. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Our return transfer taxi did not turn up and Vicky immediately offered to take us to the airport herself which we accepted. The apartment is situated on the edge of the east side of Santa Maria and has a wonderful view of the sea from the balcony. It is away from the main tourist areas and gives a unique and authentic view of real life on the island of Sal, Cape Verde. The people are very pleasant and friendly and the sellers on the managed beaches actually take 'no thanks' for answer and leave you alone. Quite unique in our experience. We were looking for a 'get away from it all and relax' beach holiday.and this holiday surpassed our most optimistic expectations. Because of the location of the apartment we were not too far away from the main beaches, shops, bars and restaurants but far enough away to see the real island of Sal, Cape Verde. We were able to walk to spectacular unmanaged beaches with not a sole in sight safely. We walked for miles and miles along those pure white sand beaches seeing the desert flow seamlessly down to the sea and witnessing the atlantic rollers come crashing in. With the stunning views, pleasant locals and very nice apartment, we will definitely be returning soon to both the island and the apartment and would whole heartedly recommend it to everyone without reservation..
