If this unit is booked we have two other condos in the building.This oceanfront, corner, unit with floor to ceiling windows along two walls looks into the harbour in downtown Victoria. We also can accommodate some two day rentals

Sit on your private covered balcony and watch the boats in the inner and upper harbours during the day and the sunsets at night.

Walk to all downtown amenities. Take in whale watching, kayaking, water taxi and biking right outside your door on the wharf. BBQ or relax on the roof top patio.

Located in the heart of downtown Victoria in the Mermaid building. On the waterfront of the harbour and the edge of the Gorge waterway, the Mermaid Building allows its guests to experience downtown Victoria, the Inner Harbour, the Gorge Waterway, the ocean, the upper part of the island and Vancouver, with ease.

Some of Victoria’s most popular restaurants surround the building, making it easy to have gourmet meals with out the worry of taxis or drinking and driving.

Take a Whale watching tour right outside the door. Or rent a kayak and glide through the harbour to the open ocean to discover the Pacific’s wild life. Or paddle up the Gorge waterway and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Salmon Fish with a charter or rent a power boat and just take it easy touring Victoria from the water’s perspective.

Just steps away, the harbour sea planes take passengers in a half hour flight to downtown Vancouver, offering great shopping on Robson street, Theatres, Stanley Park and more, and all in a day allowing one to return home for dinner.

The Mermaid neighbours Historic China Town with its many vegetable stores, restaurants and curio shops.

Romantic horse drawn carriages carry passengers through the inner harbour past the parliament buildings, the world famous Royal BC Museum, live entertainment, Underwater Sea Gardens, Omnimax Theatre, Miniature World, Double Decker sight seeing tours, and tour buses to the renowned Butchart Gardens.

Cycle, stroll, run, or even ride a horse on the picturesque Galloping Goose Trail. This multi-use trail, formerly a railway line, moves right beside the Mermaid Building, through urban, rural and wilderness scenery on its 55-kilometre journey from Victoria to Sooke. Whether you're commuting to work, meandering on a weekend afternoon or pacing yourself from Sidney to Sooke, the trail is yours to enjoy.

Catch the little Harbour Ferry stopping at the Mermaid and travel right up the Gorge waterway to Tillicum and down to the Empress.

Nothing has been spared in furnishing this space. It is fully equipped with a 32 inch flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, high speed Wifi internet and modem, microwave, dishwasher, stove, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped.

We have had such a great visit in your lovely city. Such a nice escape from the cold. We really enjoyed the magnificent sunsets. We found it so easy to walk everywhere. A real plus. Being right in the heart of the old town was lovely to enjoy the independent boutiques and restaurants. We would choose this part of the city again. The condo is so modern and beautifully equipped. Although the condo is not large, we did not feel cramped. Everything is full sized. We would like to recommend the condo to all. Please feel free to post this letter on your web site

Beautiful View, Relaxing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation rental in Victoria. Completely remodeled and decorated with style, it has a view from the whole unit of a working area of the harbor. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony table and chairs watching the water taxi's and other boats come and go. The kitchen area was well stocked to cook simple meals and the bed was so comfortable with a foam topper and soft quilt. We also enjoyed the extra deep soaking tub. The concierge who checked us in gave us a whirlwind narrative about the unit and the surrounding area, with bits of history mixed in. It proved to be very helpful the next few days as we made our way around the neighborhood.

Great place to stay!

This is a great location for everything in Victoria. Easy walking distance to lots of bars, restaurants, shops, the Empress Hotel, etc. The apartment is clean and well-appointed. Large windows allow a relaxing way to watch the harbor, including the new cantilever bridge. The bed is VERY comfortable, the shower is great, and the seating works well for two people. The unit comes with parking, and check-in is very easy. We would stay here again when we return; indeed, we would be disappointed if we could not.

Great condo wonderful location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was especially interesting watching the opening of the new bridge. The condo is equipped with everything one could possibly need for their stay. We loved being able to walk to some of the many beautiful sights Victoria has to offer.

Now if you could just eliminate some of the rain😀

Great Stay

I stayed here for two months while working at VGH and RJH. Very happy with the location and the unit. Super bright, great view, new unit. Close to the best restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Hosts followed up to make sure I was happy. If and when I come back to Victoria, I will stay here again for sure.

We both enjoyed this place tremendously right from the first moment we walked in and saw the view. It feels very spacious and bright although it isn't very big. We loved the decor and the location. It is so convenient for visiting the sights and restaurants of Victoria. We did not use our vehicle for the complete visit except for our first purchase of groceries. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

In the heart of Old Town with independent Boutique shops and restaurants. seconds way for Galloping goose Trail and Songhees Walk way. half a block from China Town. In the centre of the Amber Triangle...the three best home brew pubs...Canoe Pub, Swan's and Spinnakers. Short walk to Victoria Public Market
