Great place, great owner
Perfect place to stay. In a great location for being able to see all the major tourist attractions close by!
Quiet but central
Really nice apartment f0r a stay in central Verona. It faces inward in a traffic-limited neighborhood so it is extremely quiet yet you are only steps from Piazza delle Erbe. It was perfect for our family of 4 including two teenagers.
Fab apartment in Rome
Our stay in Rome was fabulous, especially after a long day of site seeing to return to a wonderful apartment. The area was quite and a great restaurant around the corner. It was clean, bedrooms very large, well stocked kitchen and really nicely decorated. We were greeted on our first day by a very nice young man who should us everything in the apartment. On our last day we got to meet Ann Maria who also was very nice.
Second Stay, still perfect!
This was our second stay in House Marmorata. This time Anna Maria has a host (who speaks excellent English) meet you at the house to explain how everything works — the washing machine, the antique lock on the door, etc.
We love the expansive porch out the back of the apartment. And the neighborhood itself feels authentic Italia, much lest touristy than near the Collosseum. There's a super little cafe (out the door and two blocks to the right) that we purchased lunch and two breakfasts from. The coffee was amazing and the prices were very fair.
Within the house there is wifi but the signal is weak so you must hang out near the router (in the hallway) to get the best chance for a signal.
It's a short walk to the undermentioned Tiber river and there's a busy bus stop immediately out the door to the apartment which made it very convenient to get to the sights and Vatican. Will definitely stay again!
Wonderful homey apartment
We were so happy with this rental, and felt like we were living in a regular neighborhood. Anna is a charming hostess and the apartment was perfect (except the entryway door was very narrow!). Kitchen renovated & fully stocked with plates/glasses/cookware, with lovely outdoor area. Bathroom & bedrooms spacious & comfortable, with large sitting room with couch, tv & dining table. Location is just 1 floor up & has elevator. Quiet and convenient to many coffeeshops, restaurants, and markets within 5-10 min walk and close to a bus stop and major landmarks. If you want a real experience of living not just visiting, I recommend this property highly!
Short and sweet.
I would recommend this property. The apartment was well appointed and the host was very helpful.
