This is a lovely little house in a great location, but it needs some maintenance.
Marco was extremely helpful and welcoming, and available as required. The kitchen was excellent, with a walk-in larder. The roof terrace was a pleasure, even in December and January. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the wiring was unsatsfactory, fusing regularly. Marco stated this would be fixed before he let it again.

Great location
Our contact /host / property manager, (Marco) was really friendly and helpful and responded quickly to our needs. (We managed to fuse the electrics but he was with us within 10mins and sorted it out), Mostly comfortable and very well equipped. The property could do with a bit of maintenance though as a lot of the doors and windows don't close easily, and a few things are broken but it didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

wunderschön gelegen
Das kleine, schnuckelige, wunderschön gelegene Häuschen in der Fischer-Altstadt hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir waren fast drei Wochen hier mit zwei Kindern 5 und 7 Jahre, was sehr gut machbar war. Für vier Erwachsene wäre die Zimmeraufteilung ungeschickt, da die Kinder im Zwischenraum auf der Klappcouch geschlafen haben. Die Wohnung ist mit drei elektrischen Heizungen gut heizbar. Die Duschen sind für groß gewachsene Menschen etwas beengt aber es geht. Einziges Mango, das große Bett. Es muss zwingend ausgetauscht werden. Vom Häuschen aus ist die Markthalle, sämtliche guten Restaurants, die Fähre und ein Supermarkt in 3-5 Minuten aus zu Fuss erreichbar - genial. Wir lieben Tavira, eine wunderbar verträumte Kleinstadt in der selbst im Winter vieles möglich ist - sogar baden bei 21 Grad in der Sonne und 17 Grad Wassertemperatur. Vermutlich kommen wir wieder :-)

Lovely Hamlet in the Centre of Tavira
We were met by the Owner Marco when we arrived. He showed us around the house and told us to make it our home for a week.The house is located in the Centre so everything is quite near.The house is quaInt on three levels to roof. The only draw back is if you are bad on the Feet or Hips the stairs are quite steep. There are two single beds downstairs if you didn't fancy the climb. To finish off we had a great time and would have no hesitation in Returning. Gerry.
