**Discount 17 June to 15 July 2024 due to cancellation**
One bedroom first floor apartment, overlooking town square. Located in the centre of Caleta de Fuste, close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars. Sunny south facing large terrace, with sunloungers, table & chairs, perfect for chilling out and sunbathing privately. Outdoor electric point for cooking in the sunshine. Complex has heated communal pool and well kept gardens. We only rent out for 2 guests preferring to ensure you have space to relax.

From April 2019 air conditioning in the bedroom is installed.

Complex has well kept heated communal pool with sun terrace, well maintained grounds and gardens (please ask for photographs for more details than in the online photos). As our apartment is on the first floor stairs lead up from the communal open area (see photographs).

Gate to complex is locked at all times, you have your own key during your stay. Arrival times are currently from 14:30 onwards with a mutually convenient time agreed by our management agent. Normal check in time is 16:00, and check out 12:00, we try to accommodate people around this where ever possible as long as there are not adjacent bookings. If you want to confirm arrival or departure at a particular time please ask before booking. On arrival our management agent will meet you in reception, please note for arrivals after 20:00 there is an extra charge of £15.

WiFi connection available from complex at no extra cost, however, the signal is not reliable inside the apartment, better outside on the balcony or front terrace, although stronger around the bar, pool and reception areas. There are also plenty of bars, restaurants and some shops which provide free WiFi in the town. Individual WiFi for the apartment is to be installed during which will also give additional TV channels. Open plan living space, room to relax, eat and cook if you don't want to eat out, bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower.

Located on the outside corner of the complex, has a large terrace with views over Caleta town and the town square, providing a private sunbathing area, sunny until late afternoon, has double doors from bedroom, table & chairs, sun loungers, electric point for outdoor cooking - griddle plate stored in the kitchen. Views from the terrace look over a single floor restaurant at the front of the terrace area - see photos. There is also a walled off access area at the front of the apartment, where you can take chairs and sit outside if you want somewhere cooler. Access is from the communal walkway area.

Rental cost is inclusive of cleaning, water and electric charges. An extra set of laundry is provided for stays of 2 weeks or more. If your stay is less than 2 weeks, and you would like an extra set of laundry left for your use, please let us know, in this instance an extra charge of £10 is payable to cover extra costs. For discounted monthly stays, an extra set of laundry is provided for your use, please see below for more information.

Open plan living space. Lounge area has corner sofa, small fridge to keep drinks cool, coffee table, wall unit with 32” LED flat screen TV (BBC1, ITV, Pick, SkyNews), DVD player and IPod docking station, dining table and chairs. Kitchen area newly refitted 2015, fridge/freezer, 2 ring electric hob, microwave combi oven (compromise which provides functionality as grill and conventional oven as well as microwave, due to limited space in kitchen), electric grill/sandwich toaster, toaster, kettle, washing machine. Iron and ironing board stored in living area wall unit.

Bedroom. 2 single beds which lift up to provide storage for suitcases, and terrace soft furnishings, built in wardrobe, drawer storage, small safe for valuables.
Bathroom. Newly refitted in 2015, walk in shower, wash basin and toilet

Please advise of any special requests at the time of booking, or at a minimum of 4 weeks before your arrival date. We will do our best to action these without any extra charge but will advise if this is not possible.

Weekly Rates - Apartment is cleaned at beginning of stay, towels and bed linen provided with extra set for you to change during your stay. Laundry bin in bathroom for you to leave dirty laundry.

Monthly Rates - are discounted assuming guests do their own laundry. Apartment is cleaned at beginning of stay, towels and bed linen are provided, no change is completed but there are sufficient spare towels and bed linen available for you to wash and change yourself, there is a washing machine in the kitchen and drying on the balcony is usually easy. If taking this option the 2nd set of linen will either be there when you arrive or dropped off at the apartment towards the end of your first week, please only leave 1 set of dirty linen when you leave. Quotes can be provided for laundry changes as an extra if required.

We have tried to set up the apartment drawing from our own experience of what we would want there for a comfortable stay. Having stayed in Caleta many times over the last few years, we decided last year to buy our own place to stay autumn 2014. Since then in 2015, the kitchen and bathroom have been refitted, most of the furniture replaced and the apartment has been decorated throughout.

Villa Florida is a touristic complex, please note as our apartment is privately owned Villa Florida reception staff are not responsible for the apartment or any queries or issues during your stay. Management of the apartment is handled by our management company contact details will be forwarded just before your holiday. Villa Florida reception has a community area with seating eg while you are waiting for friends or a taxi. The area is usually open between 08:00 and 22:00. Reception staff are employed by Villa Florida SL and not the community and, therefore, will not help with queries from guests staying at privately owned apartments. Please also note this when placing any reviews online.

Please note the following because of the Covid 19 pandemic:
We will refund your booking cost, less the amount charged by our management company for making the apartment ready for you, if you have to cancel because of a positive Covid PCR test 24-48 hours prior to your outward flight.

Lovely apartment had everything we needed and more . Very clean apartment in a very nice gated complex central to all shops bars and beach..would highly recommend this apartment great size balcony with table chairs sun loungers with cushions and beach towels i apartment. Beds really comfortable great shower with plenty of hot water. .great communication with owners and agent and everything ran smoothly will definitly return. It was like home from home.

A great little apartment located close to everything. Nice pool and bar within the complex and close to the beach and shops. The best part for me was the fabulous, secluded roof terrace which caught the sun from 10:00 to 16:30, so you could literally roll from your bed to your sun lounger. Perfect! Close to all of the action, but the location was remarkably quiet. Exactly what I needed for a short (5 day) break.

We have tried to set up the apartment drawing from our own experience of what we would want there for a comfortable stay. Having stayed in Caleta many times over the last few years, we decided in November 2014 to buy our own place, and are renting out to help cover the costs. We have made many friends in Caleta and scuba dive regularly at Deep Blue located in the harbour area.

Why they chose this property

We liked the layout and the location on the complex. The back balcony/terrace area is private and sunny, overlooks the town square,. There is also has benefit of smaller access area at the front by the entrance door, which is more shady. Complex is in a central position, near to the beach, marina, shops, bars and restaurants. Caleta has a large sandy beach and marina, approximately 500 metres walk from our apartment. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars in the town, plus local supermarkets if you want to eat in. Although in a central location, the apartment is peaceful and in a quiet location in the complex. We liked the open aspect of the view from the balcony which overlooks the town square.

What makes this property unique

Larage sunny terrace overlooking the town square with sunbeds, table and chairs, plenty of room to relax with the apartment facilities close at hand.
