So peaceful
Wonderful, tranquil village minutes away from Periana. Extremely friendly locals. Served by a regular bread veg/fruit, fish and meat van. The Casita was small, comfortable and had everything we needed! The host was friendly, helpful and on hand for advice and any local knowledge. One mum and her two children very happy with their holiday.

Charming retreat,,,,and base camp.
Perfectly situated for exploring La Arxarquia, situated in the centre of the hamlet of La Muela perched on the slopes above Periana. Visited frequently by baker, fishmonger and grocer vans, set amongst olive groves with community benches, terraces and oven.. and dogs. Over the week in mid-March we drove out daily, covering nearly 500 km, exploring as far as Comares, Colmenar, Rio Gordo, Antequera, "the Villaneuves", El Torcal, Riofrio and Alfarnate. Then closer to 'home' over to Alcaucin and Vinuela before heading for the coast out to Nerja and Almunecar. Each day returning to a quickly set log fire, a warm meal... and to plan the next day before packing 'pad kos' (picnic?) for the next expedition.
