Splendid large and bright house with private garden

Volpi House is a private house located in the residential area of ​​Murano, close to the Basilica of San Donato and the Glass Museum.
The house consists of two levels.
On the ground floor you will find a large and bright entrance hall, lounge, dining-room, a large kitchen and a bathroom.
Two spacious double bedrooms, one with a balcony, a single bedroom and a bathroom with bath are on the first floor.
The house, decorated with mirrors and Murano glass chandeliers, is surrounded by a garden where you can dine in peace.
The proximity to all amenities first necessity will let you enjoy your stay calmly. A scoop, a bakery and a grocery store are within a three minute walk, a pharmacy and a florist on the other side of a small bridge. If necessary a supermarket is located at the Museo stop.
In one of the many bars and restaurants along the canals, you can taste the famous "spritz", typical Venetian aperitif, enjoy specialty fish the lagoon or simply home delivery pizza.

Murano
We were in Murano 9 days, the island is very beautiful, as well as the area around Venice. The house we stayed in surprised us very much. The property needs a complete renovation. Inside the house you can feel a very offensive smell. The shower is so dirty that probably was never cleaned there. The mattresses on the beds are rock hard and have no mattress pad. On each sofa there are several small and large pillows, their pillowcases stink of human sweat smell and have several stains. Every night there are loud parties in the area, which make it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The actual house is very nicely furnished, but it has a very unkempt appearance.

Excellent stay in Murano
Paolo is a very good host. His house is spacious and beautifully furnished with antique furniture and lots of Murano-glass-chandeliers and mirrors. The House ist not far from vaporetto-stations, an ideal basis to explore Borg Venice and Murano. Thank you for perfect hospitality!

Wunderschönes Haus auf Murano mit guter Anbindung an Venedig
Das ca. 200 m2 große Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern, 2 Wohnzimmern und Küche ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen schönen Garten, in dem Tom, die Schildkröte wohnt. Ab 17 Uhr sind die Tagestouristen abgereist und es ist wunderschön über die Insel Murano zu flanieren. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen. Die Verbindung nach Venedig ist sehr gut, die Stadt ist unglaublich abwechslungsreich, sehenswert und großartig…- absolut empfehlenswert!

Magical old house
Poalo was very kind and communicative. This was my first time to Venice, and he helped us figure out transportation to get over to Murano on our first day. We arrived a little later than expected, and he was very patient with us as we navigated the public transportation system. The house was beautiful and pristine, cozy and comfortable. Located in a very quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Plus, we learned about Murano glass for the first time and got to see some of the amazing artistry inside the home.

Séjour très reposant et vraiment dépaysant
Nous avons séjourné 8 nuits dans la maison. Découvrir murano le matin et le soir sans les touristes était vraiment appréciable. Les enfants ont beaucoup aimé aussi L hôte nous a conseillé le meilleur moyen pour arriver à l île de l aéroport et nous accueilli lui-même afin de nous montrer sa maison. Nous étions.s sous le charme dès notre arrivée. Il y a u.e boulangerie très bonne juste à cote, des bons restos et une supérette. Je recommande vivement ce logement. La liturgie était très confortable et notre hôte joignable au besoin. Je reviendrai probablement
