Do not get stuck on an overcrowded, narrow beach this summer! This gorgeous, beautifully decorated , like new Duplex home is in Holgate, which is in the much less populated part of the island. It is only 8 houses from the beach and 5 from the bay with awesome views! Because the island is so narrow and Holgate is one mile from the very end of the island, it is very quiet, there are not a lot of houses, the beaches are NOT crowded, they are very wide and expansive in this north area of Holgate. (The beach is not like the very South end of Holgate near the parking lot. Please check the width of the beach in person if you are looking in South Beach Haven or South Holgate before booking a property, as the erosion is causing steep drop offs and very little beach in other areas). There are no traffic lights and low traffic - with Long Beach Boulevard (narrowed to 2 lanes ) very easy to cross for the kids walking to the beach. Yet it is only a three minute ride to the attractions of Beach Haven.

This summer home is like new and features reverse living with a vaulted ceiling living room on the second floor, hardwood floors, big screen TV over a fireplace, dining room and gorgeous kitchen, along with a side deck for the grill and a guest bathroom. Window seat to curl up on read a book ,watch TV , take in the ocean views, or just take a nap. All of the furniture in the home was brand new from Pottery Barn in 08. It is one of only a handful of houses on the island where you can stand in the kitchen and see the ocean and the bay!
The third floor fiberglass roof deck is 20x20 and is accessible from the second floor. It has the most amazing views, especially at sunset. It comes with two lounge chairs and a six person teak dining table .
The first floor has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms with all new furniture. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and sleeps four. The couch on the second floor opens up to sleep two more people if needed. Please note that the bedrooms are small with built in drawers and a mirror in closet space.
The ground floor garage has been converted to a play / hang out area with TV/futon / ping pong table . It also holds the extra large capacity LG washer / dryer with laundry sorter purchased in 2020. Side yard surrounded by a privacy fence- with a newly installed outdoor shower and bench seating.
The driveway is paved (not shown on picture) and has parking for one car. Ample street parking available .
The house will come with four bikes and six beach badges . No need to lug down your bicycles!! Beach chairs and umbrella too. You must bring your own bed linens, bath towels and beach towels. We will supply blankets, quilts and pillows. The Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker/blender/ toaster/ glasses/dishes/pots/pans and silverware.
The house is the south facing three-story side of a side-by-side duplex (number 19A) with lots of natural light.
