The cabin was hand built and is truly unique. Please feel free to ask any questions about size, access, stairways, etc. We have had so many charmed guests and we are committed to making sure this cabin is a good fit for YOU.

One bedroom, huge deck, great gardens (including a small stream and pond). Old world window hardware, claw foot tub, floor-to-ceiling barn sash windows in bathroom. Small rooms, low ceilings, exposed log perlins, plank floors and ceilings, hand scribed chinking. It is rustic and real with artistic touches and is truly unique. The adorable cabin is filled with maps, books, brochures, coupons, recommendations, insider tips and more. The plethora of nooks and crannies, and sense of abundance, belie the small carbon footprint of this green building and garden. The garden is completely chemical free, so everyone can feel great about sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings.

We continually upgrade and improve the cabin. Recent improvements include a new kitchen, additional cooking equipment, an 85 year old carved Belgian sofa, plush Nepali rugs and always professional detail cleaning. Before environmentally friendly building was a popular idea, this property was built by serious mountaineer/artists and designed to maximize the insulating qualities of logs, the southern light, water use/reuse, and other energy saving and aesthetic qualities of the site. The magic walk beneath three hundred year old spruce down a fairy-light path (leaving the road and cars behind) allows cares and constraints to fall away. The garden is a trick mirror of space relationships—taller than it is wide or long—with a pond and little bridge. Excellent soil has created itself from decades of slough from the abundance of huge trees.

All you could ever ask for...

My Wife and I decided to spend the month of July in the Jackson Hole area...we've always had a special love for the Tetons and all it has to offer. The challenging part of the plan...where to stay. My wife found this lovely cabin online that appeared to be just what we needed. Upon our arrival and throughout our 4 week stay...the cabin and the hosts, Beth and Phil, exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was just awesome...a real comfortable place with all the comforts of home. Beth and Phil could not have been fun to have around to chat from time to time. They made us feel welcome and we felt so at home coming and going from our many hikes and long walks. As we look back, where we stayed truly helped make our trip a wonderful vacation.

Quaint & funky

  • 5 of 5

Charming little place! Owners are very responsive and communicative. We did not have any issues with our stay.

Would be nice if there were screens on the windows so we can open them without bugs coming in.

Bed is super comfortable. Downside, the couch is not so comfortable. While it is charming, it wasn't good to sit and relax in.

All appliances worked just fine.

We loved the overall experience of staying here. It was quiet, peaceful and a very comfortable place to call home for a few days. Our privacy was respected but when the DVD was found to be broken..the hosts took care of it that day. They asked before they came over to fix it. The location of the cabin is close to Jackson Hole, Teton Village and the National Park. The kitchen is very nice. The bed is comfortable and the old fashioned tub is great... has an updated shower and all works great!!! The whole atmosphere of this cabin just matches the beauty of the Grand Teton area. Thanks so much for such a pleasant stay.

quaint, charming

  • 5 of 5

One of the best-equipped rentals we've ever stayed in. It is, as advertised, completely. The stairs are a bit steep and the John sits on an elevated platform, so, if you're mobility compromised you might want to take that into account. We loved the place. It was charming and very homey. Our hosts were fantastic. We will be back.

Very nice!

  • 4 of 5

Great location between Teton Village and Jackson, owners were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The place has a great log cabin feel, perfect for the setting. It was clean and neat upon arrival, and we had pretty much anything we needed from toiletries to kitchen/cooking items. Overall we had a great stay! My only reasons for 4 stars: it was a cozier than I was thinking it would be. I am 6' 3" and I had to duck under a couple of doorways inside or when going up and down the stairs. Also, the shower was a clawfoot tub with a curtain rod and showerhead setup that was not the sturdiest.
