Stunning & Elegant Chateau St Francis~Steps to Ski In/ Out. Spring Special

Chateau St Francis ** Elegant Three Bedroom Private Townhome **

Spring special in April Weekly discount (7 nights or more) 20% off .

A professionally decorated three bedroom home within walking distance to the Snowflake Lift with access to both Peaks 8 & 9. Chateau St Francis is an elegant, three bedroom/four bathroom ski home with French accents. It is perfect for a family holiday. The home accommodates up to eight guests.

The chateau's layout, with the great room, dining room and kitchen on the main level and bedrooms above and below, is designed for daytime interaction and nighttime privacy.

The chateau is located within the city limits of historic Breckenridge ~ everything is within walking distance.
* Our ski home is located across the street from the private Snowflake Chairlift Plaza (essentially ski in/out)
* It is just a short walk (4 blocks) to the center of Breckenridge

With 2,400 square feet of living space (231 square meters), vaulted ceilings, french inspired wooden beams, heated slate & wood flooring and two stone fireplaces, the home accommodates up to eight guests.

The main level features an open floor plan and family-friendly great room including:
* a soft, leather sectional couch, 2 deep-cushion leather sitting chairs, a gas fireplace with stone hearth and elk sculpture
* vintage skiing decor i.e. skis, a toboggan & snow shoes mounted on upper walls
* a wet bar with a full length, iron cast mirror
* a wall mouted 40" Sony flat screen TV viewable from anywhere in the great room area
* a luxurious powder room with an upgraded granite wash basin & elegant aspen inspired mirror
* Colorado slate flooring with radiant floor heating

Adjacent to the great room is a private deck with a new hot tub that's perfect for relaxing with the kids or a glass of wine while gazing at the night lights of Breckenridge, the Milky Way or during the day, the Colorado landscape and wildlife.
The deck overlooks a 1/2 acre of wild flowers and open space (Shrine Hill) including a statue of St Francis in the rock garden.
It has privacy uncommon to a ski area property. The deck also has comfortable log seating for two.

The dining area features an antique walnut dining room table and authentic indian woven rug; it sits 8 including 6 person leather seating in the dining room and the adjacent breakfast bar.

The villa's sleeping arrangements can accommodate up to 8 adults and includes:
* a top floor, professionally decorated master suite with a king sized bed, 32' flat screen TV, gas fireplace, walk-in closet, jetted tub, shower and his/her sinks
* a loft area with a deck and a loveseat sleeper perfect for relaxing with a good book
* a lower level, professionally decorated, private master bedroom with a full sized bed, full bath with jetted tub, shower, his/her sinks and walk-in closet
* a private third bedroom with twin beds, a trundle, a extra pull-out mattress and full bath

Cotton linens grace all the beds in the unit.

The villa/townhome home has multiple entertainment options:
* two cable TVs
* board games
* a selection of best sellers and historic literature is located in the reading area of the loft including letters and speeches from Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and other early US Presidents.

One of our favorite areas of the home is the loft where we'll relax privately to reflect on the learnings, delights and accomplishments of the day while planning the next. From the loft is a view of the night lights of Breck or durring the day, 12,000 ft. Mount Baldy.

For your convenience the townhome has a large laundry room equipped with a Bosch washer, & dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.

Attached to the home is a private heated garage with plenty of room for puting on or taking off ski boots.

Across the street from the ski villa is the Snowflake Chairlift and Blue Sky Lodge featuring a health spa, ski rentals, lift ticket office and ski storage.

Perfect Ski Location
My family of six loved staying here during our annual ski trip. The house is roomy and comfortable and a great location for downhill skiing, nordic skiing, and an easy walk into downtown Breckenridge for dinner.

Girls Ski Trip 2024!
For our annual girls ski trip 2024, Chateau St. Francis house did not disappoint! Great location! Good bedroom / bathroom layout, plus it was nice to have humidifiers in each bedroom. The hot tube was definitely a welcome treat after spending an entire day on the slopes. The property was as described in the listing. The one suggestion we would make is to have some basic items/condiments more readily available in the kitchen, i.e. sugar, tea, olive oil, plastic wrap, etc.... We would definitely stay again! Signed, Awesome Ski Group!

Beautiful home in a great location
This is a beautifully furnished town house with comfortable beds, a great hot tub and the most well- equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered in a rental. Pamela and Steve were very easy to deal with. They provided detailed instructions for everything we needed to know about the house and quickly responded to one question we asked during the week. It is just a short walk to the base of the Snowflake lift which is a great way to access either Peak 8 or 9 without waiting in a long line. We will definitely consider renting this unit again!

Why they chose this property

After looking at properties for over three years, our unit at the Highlander came avaialable. We bought it because of the modern mountain architecture, the privacy of the sub division, our accomplished neighbors and what we find is the ideal location in Breckenridge i.e. walking distance to most everything.

We love the location of the Highlander i.e. steps from the Snowflake trailhead & chairlift as well as amenities of the Blue Sky Lodge (health spa, ski rentals, storage) while also only 3 blocks from the center of Breckenridge.

The Highlander is a diverse and global community with professionals from all walks of life and the world. We share a love of skiing, the mountains and zest for life.

We love Breckenridge because of:
** its authentic and colorful history
** the well preserved Victorian architecture
** the abundant and diverse options for dining
** the art & photography galleries
** the 4-season choices for adult & child activities
** the plentiful snowfall
** the very friendly locals
** the fascinating people it attracts from around the world

Each season in Breckenridge is special:
** During the ski season, there's 300' of snow, 5 holidays to celebrate as a family as well as Breck's Ulr Festival and the International Ice Sculpting Competition in January
** Mud-season beckons a walk with coffee to the nearby mountain streams, beaver ponds and private lake; We also look forward to the independent films of the Breckenridge Film Festival
** Summer features all the activities of a destination vacation including art festivals on the 4th and Labor Day weekends
** In the Autumn there's the spectacular fall colors, crisp mountain air at night and the anticipation of another ski season

What makes this property unique

** Our home is not a rental unit but rather our home that we rent to guests that appreciate it like we do:
** With 2495sq ft spread over 3 levels it has an open, spacious, mountain home feel but with privacy for sleeping
** We have new Colorado slate flooring with radiant heat throughout the main floor of the home
** It’s the most secluded of all the Highlander subdivision townhomes from the road (and bus noise)
** Its steps away from the Snowflake chair lift and local bus stop; the no fees bus can take you nearby Frisco, the outlet (discount) stores of Silverthorne, the nearby ski resorts (Copper, Keystone and A-Basin) and the Breckenridge grocery store
** The private deck & new hot tub overlooks the St Francis rock garden, an adjacent open area with native plantings and the town of Breckenridge; at night, it also has a great view of the Milky Way…perfect with a glass of wine
** It's impeccably clean e.g. the heated garage floor was sealed in a light color, the 2 redwood decks & hot tub were recently re-stained
** Though a car is not necessary, the heated garage has room for putting on/taking off boots and storing skis
