About this property

Cottage 108 - Cleggan

Set at the edge of a working harbour, in the beautiful fishing village of Cleggan, this delightful property commands magnificent views of Inishbofin Island. It features French windows leading out from the well-presented open-plan accommodation onto a furnished terrace, in which to sit and observe the ever-changing vista. Built and furnished to a very good standard, it is close to a range of amenities; shops, restaurants and pubs playing traditional music, as well as outdoor activities including horse riding, sea angling, golf and boat trips. The nearby sandy beaches, pretty villages, Kylemore Abbey and the wilds of Connemara National Park all beckon exploration. The market town of Clifden is only 7 miles, or approximately 10 minute drive, and has a wide array of facilities, shops, bars and restaurants.

Nice place in a small seaside village
Theresa and Terence are very kind , the location is located on a small peer , a pub and a small shop are at 5 min walk. A nice view on the sea and a small garden to eat outside. About 15 min from Clifden . We recommend this place.
Stayed 7 nights in May 2023

Excellent property
Excellent property. Perfect for our stay with 6 adults ad 2 kids. A swim on our doorstep every morning. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Even though we missed out on the heatwave that was covering the country it was still ideal for us. Planning on returning next year.

Excellent stay
We have appreciated all many our stay. The sea view, small fishing port, lobsters and products of the sea, the beauty of the landscape, peaceful life, and the small dogs scroungers, who made the beautiful .. and of course inescapable sheeps in the middle of the peat and the flowery roads .. We like Conemara .. and Ireland generally It has been 2 years since we go there .
