3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa. the 2 upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms with showers, the master bedroom also having a bath. Both of these bedrooms have private balconies with space to sit and enjoy.
The ground floor has a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and an open plan kitchen/dining room and lounge area.
The ground floor bedroom has patio doors which open on to the ground floor patio area.
The house has a private, heated swimming pool (6mx4m). Pool heating is available at additional cost.
Outside there is also a patio area with a charcoal barbecue, private parking and further grassed area on which to play or sit.
In addition to the barbecue, the patio area has 6 sun loungers, plus an extending wooden table and parasol with 6 chairs. There are further chairs and another small table, usually situated on the upstairs balconies.
The house has 2 adult bicycles and 2 child bicycles (one with 20" wheels, the other 16" wheels).
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, a DeltaQ pod coffee machine, a filter coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster.
Nearby are the 3 beautifully landscaped golf courses of Royal Obidos (7 minutes drive), Bom Sucesso (12 minutes drive) and Praia D'EL Rey (12 minutes drive), each of which are designed to take advantage of the surrounding beauty of seaside, countryside and Obidos Lagoon.
The closest beach, Bom Sucesso, is approximately 5 minutes' drive away, where the restaurants Bica Da Lagoa and Edgars seem to be ever popular.
Legends Restaurant (7 minutes drive) at Royal Obidos is also worth a visit, as is Argento (12 minutes drive), which is located in a beautiful spot, overlooking the Atlantic coast on the North edge of Praia D'EL Rey. Another, more casual dining option is to visit the lagoon side bar, which is located near to the turning to the Bom Sucesso, where various activities, such as sup, kayak and lagoon boat rides can also be booked. More bicycles can be hired at the lagoon side bar or at the restaurant Rio Cortico Lagoa (Bom Sucesso beach).
For those who prefer to leave behind the calm waters of the lagoon beach and like to surf or simply to enjoy the larger waves of the Atlantic coast, the beach of Praia Rio Cortico (not to be confused with the similarly named restaurant at Bom Sucesso beach) is a nearby option. The renowned surfing resorts of Baleal and Peniche are also worth a visit.
Inland, the municipal park in Caldas Da Rainha has a nice play area for children and also shady places to walk and sit.
The Buddah Eden Garden in Carvalhal (near Bombarral) also makes for an enjoyable and memorable afternoon out, with the added bonus of being able to visit the wine shop, since it is located at the Bacalhoa Wines' Quinta dos Loridos.
There is a small shop at Bom Sucesso beach, a small supermarket at Prais D'El Rey and larger supermarkets located in Caldas Da Rainha or Obidos.
A visit to the historical, walled city of Obidos is also a must. There are many options for sightseeing, dining or simply to take coffee whilst enjoying the medieval architecture and watching the passers by. Obidos hosts several events, including medieval markets, which are usually held in July, a chocolate festival, the time of which varies and also Easter and Christmas events.
To the North, Coimbra is worthy of a trip (approximately 1hr 45 minutes drive), with some beautiful walks.
To the South, the sights of Lisbon and Sintra are about an hour away.
