A perfect getaway for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and magic of Silver City while staying in relaxing luxury! The 'Solar Home' is a grand and beautiful modern home that has been beautifully designed for your vacationing pleasure. All of the comforts of home with glorious views of the mountains visible from your deck with downtown restaurants and shopping just outside your door! Walk to restaurants, galleries, and hiking!

The warm and rejuvenating master bedroom has cathedral beamed ceilings, king bed, ipod clock radio, and a private master bath with separate shower & bath, double sinks, and custom Talavera tile. A new and spacious kitchen with island range cooktop, oak cabinets, beam ceiling with handmade ironwork, and a walk-in pantry. Having meals outdoors at the teak dining table off-kitchen adobe-walled patio with kiva fireplace is a magnificent way to finish off an evening under the stars. House includes high-speed wifi, cable, 42' flat screen TV, DVD player, and is fully furnished with furniture, linens, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, barbeque grill, and coffee maker. 1 additional bedroom with queen platform bed.

A LEED platinum qualified residence renovated from an 1880's adobe house. Beautiful architectural details: exposed beams, cathedral ceilings, handmade ironwork, Saltillo and bamboo floors, locally handmade tile in kitchen and bath, 2 brick patios, deck with sweeping views, outdoor kiva fireplace, hand troweled plaster, reclaimed timber from the original 1880's construction, soundproofed interior and exterior walls. Solar powered heat and electricity, but fully automated with backups and interconnected to the grid. Live off the sun in this renewable energy house. Completed in 2007.
