There is spacious furnished deck out back with a Weber gas grill. There is also an adjacent, 2-story studio building with a music room, accessible upon special request. Beautifully situated amid rolling hills, farms, lakes, historic homes. 15 min. from Great Barrington, 20 min. from Hudson, NY, 35 min. from Tanglewood. Great spot for a respite/getaway!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rich's place - the setting was very peaceful, and the house is very nicely furnished. We hope to get back again before too long!

Ideal location
We really enjoyed our stay at Rich's cottage. The place was comfortable and as advertised. Kitchen well stocked. Internet worked well. The location was perfect for hiking, good restaurants, visiting Clark Museum and day trips. Rich was very responsive to our questions and provided an excellent written guide to the cottage. I would definitely recommend Rich's cottage.

Wonderful Long Weekend in Hillsdale
We had a lovely time at Richard's. We enjoyed both the design and decor of his home and the setting was very peaceful. It was just right for a relaxing weekend. We highly recommend it!

Cozy and Quiet
This is a terrific house for a couple and everything about it met our expectations: clean, comfortable, and quiet. Coming from NYC for a long weekend, it was amazing to sit on the deck and hear the wind and nothing else. And when my partner had to login to work for a video conference, the great WiFi was a big help. The owner provided all the necessary information we needed to arrive and settle in. We'd love to go back.
