Penthouse with a unique location in the heart of Taormina, between Corso Umberto and Piazza San Domenico. Its balconies and its large terrace afford incomparable panoramic views. From the Greek theater to the cliff of the Medieval Castle, from the Cathedral to Castelmola village and to the deep blue of the Ionian Sea with Mount Etna's peak in the background.
The house Has a large living room with antique furniture, a bridal suite with bathroom, two double rooms, another bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen with a laundry room and a big terrace on the top floor. The large and bright rooms afford a fine view of the charming alleys Which Dolce & Gabbana Celebrated in Their advertising campaigns.
The property is for rent within the meaning of Italian Law n. 438/1998.

The top terrace with a breathtaking view Has a solarium and it is covered with a wooden porch, on one side, Which is ideal for open-air dinners.
The penthouse is in a very central position. Walking a few minutes along the boutiques and antique shops in Corso Umberto you can reach Piazza IX Aprile, the Greek Theatre, the Cableway to seaside Mazzaro and Isola Bella. Around the building there are a lot of restaurants and trattorias: such as "House Grugno" and "Prince of Cerami" Which boast Michelin stars.

Taormina is easy to reach from the motorway Catania-Messina, exit Taormina. Then follow the signs to the center and go on to Porta Catania where there is a big car-park 200 meters from the house. It is possible to go to Piazza San Domenico by car but the stop is allowed for the delivery of luggage only. It easy to go on foot from the car-park Porta Catania to the house going through Corso Umberto and stopping in Piazza Duomo.

Great location in Taormina
The property is very comfortable and in the perfect location near the main street. The views from the rooftop terrace are spectacular. Our main issue with the property was that it badly needs maintenance. The main bedroom air conditioner does not cool, the hot water in the ensuite cuts out, and the kitchen cupboards are falling apart. There are two wall ovens in the kitchen: one does not work and the other gets so hot that you can't touch the dials and they are partly brown from the heat. Light switches on the rooftop deck are taped up so it is dark at the entrance and the light in the laundry was not working when we were there. The television was also not working except for the internet accessible channels which are mostly subscription.

Our stay in Taormina.
Fabulous location. Good access. Amazing views . Can be a bit noisy at night due to bars below the accommodation. Disappointed that the outdoor terrace was located outwith the apartment on a higher level. Perhaps a bit more information about the apartment eg TV access, appliance information.

Great stay
I hate to write this review because I don't want to give away our favorite apartment! The apartment is in a great location near the Cathedral, with amazing views. The greeter (Ann) is fantastic and will help with any question. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic location, spacious and lovely terrace but very noisy at night
Great central location just steps away from the main shopping street in Taormina. The apartment was spacious and had lots of character with fantastic views out to the mountains and sea. Property managers very quick to respond to questions and any problems. Main drawback was the loud noise from restaurants directly below the property that went on until early morning hours particularly on the weekend. We understand that the property is to be upgraded soon and hopefully the owners will install double glazing which would make this a brilliant place to stay.
