Lovely cottage in the heart of the village - short drive to famous surfing beaches of Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe. This 3 bedroom home has a lovely modern kitchen/dining room, sitting room and sunny decked terrace with lawned garden. This property is also pet friendly (*charges apply).

Dining/Cooking
The modern kitchen/dining room has a contemporary kitchen area with built in appliances including dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob and microwave. There is a breakfast bar area and dining table with 6 chairs. Downstairs there is also a utility area with washer-dryer.

Living
The spacious sitting room provides comfortable seating for 6 with an LG smart TV, and has a bay window overlooking the gardens and village. A cosy log burner is available for the cooler months, perfect for warming up after a brisk winter walk!

Sleeping
From the hallway, stairs lead down to a large double bedroom with en-suite shower room and French doors opening out onto the decked terrace. To the first floor there is a master bedroom with lovely bay window overlooking the garden, village, and surrounding countryside and there is also a twin bedroom with drawer space.

Bathing
There is a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower over, W.C and vanity sink unit. There is also an en-suite shower room downstairs.

Outside
Outside the spacious decked terrace can be accessed either from the ground floor bedroom or via the steps that lead from the front of the property to the side door of the kitchen and then down to the terrace. There is a picnic bench perfect for 'al-fresco' dining and also rattan style comfortable seating - ideal for enjoying a glass of wine while the sun goes down! The lawned garden is accessed via steps leading down from the terrace (gate at the top so that the terrace is safe for young children). There is a storage cupboard for patio accessories located off the terrace.

Parking is to the front of the property on the unrestricted roadside and within easy walking distance there is a free village car park.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Please note that you are booking via an external channel and not directly through Ocean Cottages, therefore any information not provided directly from Ocean Cottages cannot be fully relied upon and pricing may differ. Please check payment and cancellation terms prior to confirming your booking.

There is a refundable security deposit of £200 payable with the final balance (not applicable to Airbnb bookings) - please note this will not be shown in the total cost of the booking on the summary screen. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Full payment is due if arrival is within 10 weeks. For bookings made 10+ weeks in advance a deposit of 50% plus the £60 non-refundable booking fee is due. The final balance and security deposit (if applicable) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

For Bookings confirmed with VRBO, Ocean Cottages will take your payment prior to confirming your booking, this could be up to 72 hours after receiving your confirmation from VRBO. If we are unable to accept your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible. Airbnb take payment on our behalf and pay us after your stay, they will confirm the dates and amounts due when you make your booking.

It is not possible to add any extras when booking via VRBO/Airbnb and therefore the costs of any extras will not be included within the price shown, extras must be requested and paid for directly with Ocean Cottages.

Pretty village close to superb beaches
Lovely village just over a mile from 3 beautiful beaches, with two pubs and village shop, church and free car park. Near Woolacombe, Putsborough and Croyde villages/beaches and Croyde has a free car park if you're a member of the National Trust. The walk down is enjoyable although a bit demanding if you are less mobile and uses single track road as well as footpaths. Also to note is Baggy point looking west to Lundy Island between Croyde and Putsborough. The house is beautiful prepared, clean and you have quality appliances (Meile, AEG etc). All the bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds and pillows. Master downstairs with ensuite and access to the spacious terrace. The other two are upstairs supported by a family bathroom. The middle floor is the living area with a compact lounge and an efficient kitchen/diner although no toilet on this floor. The terrace and small garden face SSE and is quiet private overlooking other gardens, but not otherwise house windows and includes an efficient large Webber BBQ well utilised during our week there. We were able to park out front to unload and load leaving just enough space for other vehicles to pass if pulled in tight and we chose to use the village car park that had plenty of space for the rest of the week and a short walk. I had a few communications with the property manager staff to clarify a couple of things which they handled efficiently and carefully and were very friendly/supportive.

Family stay in Georgeham
Beautiful house, everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. Clean, beautifully presented, perfect location for easy trips to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle. Both the local pubs within walking distance were fabulous. The week was just what we all needed and seriously thinking of rebooking for next year.
