Sweeping Oceanview at the Fabulous Kaanapali Shores Resort with no "Host" fee!

Our ocean view, one bedroom condo has a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and dramatic, Molokai Island. We are fortunate in that where we are located the building surface is flat. Therefore, we have no adjoining units jutting out obstructing our almost 180 panoramic view.

Kaanapali Shores is a popular, first-class resort located right off the ocean shore. In addition, the resort has both an Ocean Pool, with its own Beach Club restaurant, as well as a completely new Tropical Pool which has something for everyone, young and old. In this lavish setting you can layout, or swim in a natural setting of waterfalls and lava rock. At night the pool transforms into a colorful water show that is a Hawaiian delight.

Our one bedroom condo features our refurnished living room with a new, upscale but comfortable look! This is the perfect accompaniment to our remodeled kitchen and bath with it's unique walk-in, luxury shower. Our tropical fans invite you to harness the ocean breezes or choose the central air conditioning.

Enjoy hotel amenities including tennis courts, 2 pools, hot tubs a health club (adl chg), beauty salon, and Hawaiian gift shops, - all add to the Kaanapali Shores experience. Some amenities such as "free" DVDs (remember those?) are for rental unit guests only (not VRBO). Our non-smoking condo has both a comfortable king-size bed and a sofa/bed. Our washer/dryer within our unit is a great convenience. There are two TVs - one in the bedroom and a true HDTV in the living room with a Blu-ray player.

Enjoy all the conveniences of a condo the amenities of a full-size resort where you can enjoy the 'Aloha' life!

Everything you need!
My husband and I loved this property! It’s in the best location, close to everything without being too crowded. The grounds offer amazing amenities, the beach was beautiful, pools refreshing, small stores handy and beach bar super convenient. The condo itself was super clean and had everything we needed in it (including beach chairs - huge bonus!). We will definitely be recommending this place to anyone that’s looking to stay in Maui and will hopefully return ourselves one day soon! Thanks for everything :)

Super comfortable home away from home!
What can we say! This condo had it all; well equipped, great location, comfortable and our boys just loved spending time there. Great communication with the owners who responded quickly to messages and were very flexible when a flight cancellation resulted in us staying an extra day in Hawaii; we were very happy that the owners were able to let us stay an extra night. Unfortunately the photos do not accurately reflect the condition of the unit. It is in dire need of a good cleaning. The carpets were soiled, the doors were dirty and needed painting. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable leaving us with a backache and the pillows were lumpy. The towels were near the thickness of paper towels. We left and when to a hotel. A terrible waste of money. No secure internet and they didn’t even know what I was talking about when I asked for the network name and password. Terribly disappointing. The one accurate statement in the listing is the view. It was lovely. The entire property was in desperate need of cleaning and updating.

We live in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, but we always look forward to our '2nd home' at Kaanapali Shores. Dave is a retired news video editor at NBCUniversal and Brenda is a retired food supervisor with the Los Angeles school district. Benda likes to cook and Dave is a huge Frank Sinatra fan and frequently 'sits in' singin' with Marty & Elayne at the famous Dresden Club in Hollywood.

Why they chose this property

On our first trip to Maui, we were staying at the Sheraton and decided that we wanted a 2nd home in Maui. As soon as our realtor brought us to Kaanapali Shores, we knew that Kaanapali Shores was the place for us! It had just the right amount of resort atmosphere with the Beach Club restaurant and bar, the gift shops,etc., and still be a place where you could leisurely relax.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the two pools, the Tropical (aka Garden) and Ocean, - each with its own ambiance. We find the location to be of great convenience, since there is a strip mall anchored by a full size food market right across the street. Kaanapali Shores, itself, has its oven sundry store for those last minute items you might have forgotten to purchase.
